  1. In any country .... if a house is considered a drug haven or suspected of manufacturing or possessing illegal substances the police will come knocking.

Can be Thailand or France or Australia.

In most normal countries, not without a search warrant. Otherwise their case will fall apart due to illegal entry.

and you don't think they will put together a search warrant a couple of days later ? all they need is a signature ....

  2. We praise Khun Prayuth Chan ocha the general and PM for his astounding deliverance speech at the ASEAN-US Summit.

He is what's needed to get Thailand back up and running, prosperity and revive the economy. wai2.gif

He has delivered his speech on border control and regional security issues of concern. Today he will talk on ‘Protecting Peace, Prosperity and Security in the Asia-Pacific,’ .....

  3. They play the same games in Korea and Japan, yet don't hear of this sort of crap from them. What this does show (once more) is total unwillingness (or even the idea of) taking responsibility for one's actions. Always blame some other factor. Like kid who kills parents and begs judge "Have mercy on me. I'm an orphan"

That's correct. And it's because kids in Japan and Korea are much smarter than Thai kids and understand responsibility & what's right from wrong !

  4. They already know what sells and what doesn't sell. If Indian curry sauces were a good product they would be on the shelf.

I know one brand they don't stock anymore is 'Prakitrat' or some name like that, it was in the purple packets .... I tried it a couple of times and it was quite good, however obviously there's not a big enough market for them so they have been taken out ....

Go into the store and speak to the management, they maybe able to give you their contact for sales & marketing who should know what you need to do.

  5. This is Thailand where Thai is the official language. I don't see western people speaking Thai for Thais when they travel abroad.

English is the most common used international language. If you want to succeed in the developing world you must speak english. Whether it be banking, tourism, retail, industrial or resource sectors, english is the used in more countries than any other language and as such Thai's should follow suit if they want to move forward.

  6. I work on the assumption that the Air Traffic Controllers in Thailand are as professional as the Royal Thai Police, The Justice System, The immigration Department, The Bus Companies, the Railways Department etc. etc.

I mean really, why should we assume the ATC people are any better? Or the pilots come to that.

So I never fly on a Thai air company. I always fly Emirates and whenever entering or leaving Thai air space, I'm shitting bricks, re-reading the safety card, and timing my run to the closest exit.

In most other countries I sleep through the landings and take-offs. coffee1.gif

sorry to hear about your condition .... I wish you well and hope you can get appropriate treatment.
