Suthep is sitting in a pretty good position at present although he needs more support from the government office workers who of course want to support Suthep as the want Yingluck out , however they are frightened as there may be recoarse for there actions. If he can manage to stop the office workers going to work then that would be a huge push toward the Yingluck government failure and it would have to surrender.

Chalerm says he's upset because Suthep didn't keep his promise ... well what about the promises the Yingluck government made to the people and never kept any of them .. the rice payment for one.

All Yingluck tried to do is get her criminal brother to be allowed back in thailand.

Frankly, I am sick and tired of both sides. A/ Double prices are based solely on face control which is racist. B/ Farangs are crying and whining about this all the time. You have lots of choices except crying and whining 1) Do not go there 2) speak a little Thai and show your driving licence 3) pay the tourist price, shut your mouth and do not whine.

Cheapskate Japanese guy. I had 30,000 plus all my keys (home/safe/BKK condo/UK/car), credit/ATM cards, smartphones, camera etc returned last month (again via taxi radio network call). The prospect of replacing all those keys and cards was horrific, plus I love honest people. I gave the guy 25,000.

To the guy who implied that there are only a few honest cabbies - I do not see a rush of people on this thread saying that they lost a load of money that was not returned.

I lost 2,000 000 baht and that wasn't returned to me.
