i pay 800 both ways, including tolls, always use same guy, call him from UK and he meets me at teh airport. nice cars good drivers and 2 ice cold gatorades in the taxi waiting along with chilled water. obviously i gave 1000.

used to work in the trade one reason only its not been frozen or chilled correctly before its displayed, or the temp in the storage is not adequate as in all supermarkets here its exposed in ice not in temperature controlled coolers. that meat left out in supermarket is nowhere near the correct temperature. bacteria working hard on it before it gets to you. still as long as its cooked ok should be ok.

I wasn't impressed on my first visit

brits gave up on bland food years ago, not many people for meat and 2 veg now, indian,thai,chinese,italain,mexican,lebonese etc. trust me i did not like groing up on the meat and 2 veg stuff. English breakfast ok now and again though. never had them at home no time to make.

only 4 traditonal english foods in UK top 10, bloody great cant beat a good ruby.

cant say as i found USA or Aussie food any more exiting than UK, exception HOOTERS chicken wings in USA

last week Pattaya, i have non b no permit, they will not give credit without WP but buying i was out on it with in 1 hour of handing over cash.

have to go back next week with letter from immigration, that means copy passpoert pictures, copy blue book, signed by landlord in my case. then book and plates come in my name. purchased other bike on multiple entry also have car in my name with same deatails as above.

ouch just read put in girlfriends name, gave up!!! no reason why legally he could not have got it in his name anywhere. law changed on that one about 9 years ago i think possibly longer. he could have 100% got it in his name.

great dogs, was one in the house b4 i was born and was never without one for rest of my life in the UK, might bring him here, then he and the Pit Bull can sort out there own alpha male, pit bull was abandoned on street with broken leg, started feeding him a bit then he ended up here. softest dog ever ever owned, bite no way visitors get licked to death.

Is anybody interested in giving a home to a 3 year old male labrador, great dog vaccinated, no picture but if interested let me know and i will post one, just need to go and get picture. at Mapbrachan. i love labs and cant beleive nobody wants him, but for the fact i have a dominant male dog at home i would snap him up, may still do so. deserves better than a pen and walks 2-3 times per week. staff shortages and vet bills over 30k a month making life difficult spending. still all dogs are fed, medicated and neutered. dont think lab is yet. all kinds available, donation appreciated when taking but presently running at 500k per year loss, so clock is ticking.

If you are a foreigner you will need an affirmation of freedom to Marry from your Embassy, you will need to attend your Embassy as your signature needs to be witnessed by an Embassy Consulate. Most Embassies have this form available on their website. It then needs to be translated and stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok, this part can be handled by an agent (at a cost).

Once you have this you can attend the Amphur Office in Phuket Town, you need your passport, affirmation of freedom to marry (suggest making copies), she will need her ID card and Tabian Baan and a witness (Thai person that knows her). As for cost when I did it (my wife is from Trang) it cost 150 baht.

But don't tell this to all those Chinese food experts who were praising this "English" Chinese food place to high heaven. Heck, the English can barely make edible "English" English food...why would anyone think they could make Chinese food

Chicken tikka massala, english food made by english people. yummy, dont tell me you think its still roast beef, english breakfast, sprouts etc, chinese shops in UK actually without exception from China many Hong Kong. try getting a good chinese in UK during Chinese new year.

not suprised, its a dump, can live there and never know you were on an island, only place i can think of where hotels built inbetween beach and road. is there a beach road any where. Pattaya area streets ahead, seem to see time after time putting right, to late the drains will always fill with sand/soil from the mountains where tree roots replaced by concrete, bad roads, expensive. as the big man used to say, its a Sh*t hole.

I have to go back in one month for the next step which will cost about 2,000 more.

But here's the interesting part. Step three is putting on the crown, and that is supposedly going to cost 12,000 baht.

There's no way I'm paying 12,000 for a crown. Once she's done with the second step next month, I'm going to start looking for another dentist.

Hi i just wanted to know if anybody has experience with a dongle, not sure if thats is world wide term but its a usb type modem which sim card is inserted. i purchased AIS one last year tried it and it was slow, went back and AIS said yes its AIS dongle but not have 3G in Pattaya, usual con tricks. now my wife is convinced that true have it, she said she saw a demonstration some where and the guy was getting download speeds of 7 MB and streaming youtube no problem, this is on dak side, i am not convinced but maybe?. been into carrefore today and AIS, tru and DTAC advertising 3g, one shop said only true have it. just wanted clarification does pattaya have 3g internet yet. if so what speeds with dongle

my experience 3BB sucked and a bunch of lying so so on the sales/help desk. only after wards do you find it sucks then you have to upgrade the package, having been tied into a contract. just my experience in Pattaya. best one of all i had to pay 500 baht to be allowed to upgrade the package. apart from bangkok airways and Ais they are number 3 on my not like list.

1 good thing it did accept proxy server, where as some others do not.
