  1. stop reelecting incumbents That’s not the peoblem. People (especially Republicans) should stop electing completely incompetent dumb@sses who know less than nothing about politics and don’t have the slightest interest in doing anything for their constituents. People like MTG, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Paul Gosar, Louis Gomert, Tommy Tuberville, Jim Jordan, the list just goes on and on. They are all dumber than a bag of rocks, conspiracy thinkers, QAnon believers, MAGA cult members, and yet people keep electing them. That is the real problem.
  2. The fact that he can’t string a sentence together to save his life will also remind the electorate who is the most capable candidate come voting time. There, fixed that for you. Why do you think his lawyers convinced him not to testify? Or forbade him, more likely. They were cr@pping their pants that Trump was going to fly off the handle and say things that would incriminate him. The man just has no filter, can’t keep his mouth shut and keeps going off on tangents that have nothing to do with what he was talking about. Here’s the genius mind of Trump at work:
  3. How is this news? A high ranking government official and their relatives involved in corruption? Gee, who’d have think it. My bet is that nearly all high ranking officials are involved in some sort of racket, corruption or whatnot and the only reason this ever comes to light is when one of them refuses to share the kickbacks with their ‘colleagues’ (i.e. partners in crime) and gets ratted on by one or more of those same ‘colleagues’. The system is corrupt to the bone.
  4. I’m sure the people of Hua Hin are looking forward to being fleeced by the new police chief (sarcasm alert). After all, he’s got to earn back his investment: buying that position will have probably cost him an amount of at least 8 figures in baht.
  5. Rid the government of illegals? What illegals would that be? All Trump showed (and is still showing) is that he is very good at choosing very incompetent people to work for him. And I’m not making things up: here are Trump’s plans for when he becomes president again. https://apnews.com/article/trump-policies-agenda-election-2024-second-term-d656d8f08629a8da14a65c4075545e0f I’m sure that’s just the tip of the iceberg, and the real horrors of Trump’s plans won’t be revealed until he’s president again. Hence my warning: his supporters should be careful what they wish for, as electing Trump president could come back to bite them in te @ss. Dictators have a habit of doing whatever it takes to stay in power, even turning on people who once supported them.
  6. Politics is about only 3 things that matter - policy, policy, policy. Biden’s administration has implemented many good policies, like Tug mentioned in his post. Trump’s administration was an unmitigated disaster, zero good policies.
  7. and those who live in a partisan bubble. You mean all the MAGA cult members?
  8. He didn’t sidestep this question: when asked if he would become a dictator, Trump answered he will be a dictator on the first day. Dictators usually abuse their power, that’s why they are called dictators. So his supporters may want to be careful what they wish for. Trump is planning mass deportations, and locking millions of people up in ‘re-education’ camps, and/or in mental asylums. Who is to say who is going to be deported, or locked up? https://www.meidastouch.com/news/trump-said-he-will-be-a-dictator-on-day-1-dodges-abuse-of-power-question
  9. Not only did he retain boxes containing classified documents, even after he was subpoenaed to return them and his lawyers had signed a document that everything was indeed returned, which turned out to be a blatant lie. According to several witnesses, Trump himself ordered his staff to take the classified documents, even though his lawyers had informed him more than once that that was illegal. I would call that aggravating circumstances.
  10. And again the orcs show their true nature and intentions. This evil empire needs to be stopped.
  11. “You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make it drink” In other words, you can present facts and evidence to MAGA cult members until you’re blue in the face, they will simply reject it and keep holding on to their alternative facts and continue to live in their la-la-land reality.
  12. I suggest sir, your love/devotion/adulation/worship for Trump has so totally obscured your ability to look objectively that you are prepared to twist yourself and your brain into a pretzel to defend your idol.
  13. There has been unequal treatment all right: for a long time, Trump has been handled with kid gloves. Anyone else doing the things Trump did would have been in jail for years. So Trump probably thought he was untouchable, seeing as how he got away with so many things other people would never get away with, but finally justice is catching up with him now. Nothing political about that.
  14. Wasn’t he going to introduce a ‘much better’ health care plan while he was president, and the GOP had control of both the House and the Senate? Hmm, I wonder what happened there. Like almost everything Trump says and claims and promises, it’s just hot air, empty promises, tooting his own horn, taking credit for things he had nothing to do with, blaming everybody and their uncle for things he himself was responsible for, or just flat out lies. I still can not believe or even comprehend that he is the GOP front runner. Lock him up, lock him up, lock him up!!!
  15. Are they going to fire every cop on Phuket? Fire the governor for not doing his job? Ban all the tuktuk and taxi drivers? Ban all the jetski operations? Because all that would surely mean a serious blow to criminality on Phuket.
  16. That would probably be just the tip of the iceberg, of assets that are actually in his name. How about looking into the wealth of his extended family, like wife, children, in-laws and such? And I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a couple of anonymous overseas bank accounts as well….
  17. The PM being nepotistic and abusing his power. Gee, what a shocker. Yawn….
  18. MAGA disciples wouldn’t recognize the truth/facts/reality if it smacked them in the face.
  19. What kind of teacher hits a student on the head? And repeatedly, apparently? Madness. Do the same to this teacher a few times (the parents of the girl involved would want to volunteer, I guess) and I’m sure the hitting will stop right away. Sometimes the age-old concept of ‘an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth’ works wonders. Teachers like this are usually cowards who need to be taken down a peg or two.
  20. What you don’t seem to understand is that on this forum you’re required to provide evidence/proof (i.e. at least one link from a credible source) when you make outrageous claims. Saying ‘do your own research’ is laughable, it doesn’t work like that.
  21. The rainy season has hardly ended and the morons start burning again. Already figures in purple, PM10 values of 243 and 199. I dread to think what this map will look like in March/April, the whole north of Thailand will probably be screwed. And still the only thing the government does is pass another Act, and continue to sit on their thumbs. There’s no money to be made, so they do nothing.
  22. Aaww, the Chinese are getting their feelings hurt when foreign media report (the truth) about Taiwan. For a nation that’s aspiring to be the number one super power in the world they sure are a bunch of crybabies.
  23. Delay, obfuscate, blame everybody else and their uncle, attack the judge and DA, intimidate witnesses, try to contaminate the jury pool, and most of all: throw massive temper tantrums. PS: almost forgot: never, ever take responsibility for your own actions.
  24. The problem is that if they get their way, the rest of us are going to have to live with that as well, and try to deal with the fall-out. Which will be huge.
