  1. Danderman already posted a link, but here’s another one: https://www.meidastouch.com/news/weaponizing-the-doj-against-his-political-foes-is-a-recurring-theme-of-trumps-speeches The big difference is (@Longwood) that the current indictments against Trump are legitimate ones, because there’s ample evidence that he broke the law in quite a few instances. So no weaponization of the DOJ or the federal government there. What Trump is planning to do when he becomes president again is to indict his political opponents (or anyone else that he perceives to be an ‘enemy’, for that matter) on trumped up charges. No pun intended. That is the very definition of weaponization of the DOJ.
  2. Donald Trump promised America he would only hire the best people to work for him. Alina Habba, Trump’s lead defense attorney (the one who forgot to check the ‘jury trial’ box) embarrasses herself by objecting to evidence she herself introduced. https://www.newsweek.com/alina-habba-mocked-fraud-trial-ivanka-trump-document-1842241 🤣🤣🤣
  3. Or, we could point out the truth, like us TDS survivors tried to do: that she is a highly prejudiced MAGA nut and election denier, with her nose firmly wedged up Donald Trump’s butt.
  4. Not the usual 1,000 baht slap on the wrist, a few wai’s and apologies, but a hefty fine that will really hurt his wallet, plus ample compensation for the women. And a ban to ever own/operate a business again. Maybe a few weeks in jail would also be warranted.
  5. And not just any Republican: she’s a hardcore, all-in Trumper and MAGA cult member.
  6. You are aware of Trump’s one and only reason to want to become president again, aren’t you? Because he’s made it abundantly clear that when he does, his only goal is to go after everybody who ever so much as looked funny at him. And he’s going to use (i.e. abuse) all the might of the federal government to accomplish his goal. No weaponization of the federal government there, right?
  7. This is the guy, the Liar in Chief, that all the trumpers and MAGA cult members here on this forum, and in this thread, are defending and going to vote for in 2024. Donald Trump claims he won all 50 states in the 2020 election. https://news.yahoo.com/trump-claims-won-50-states-152719454.html
  8. You have no idea what a leftist is to begin with. Calling Biden left is ridiculous in and of itself. And Trump doesn’t have a sense of humor.
  9. You can have all the Acts and laws and measures that you want, but if they are not enforced they are less than useless. And we all know the enforcement is where the problem lies.
  10. Trump said he could shoot someone and wouldn’t lose voters. Judging by what a whole bunch of posters post on this forum, I believe him. Apparently their hatred for ‘the left’ is so deep that they would rather defend and vote for a criminal than vote for ‘a lefty’. Go figure.
  11. This goes way beyond love. Adulation, worship, idolization come to mind.
  12. Not to mention billions and billions of baht in kickbacks. Some people are going to become very rich. Or much richer than they already were.
  13. So I’m guessing Pattaya will be losing almost its entire police force? I mean, the RTP are involved up to their eyeballs in almost all crime in Pattaya, so if there’s going to be a real crackdown (not the token ones they keep having), it will decimate the ranks of the RTP.
  14. Unfortunately, he’s by far not the only one. The MAGA mind works in mysterious ways. On the one hand, all the overwhelming evidence against Trump and his co-conspirators is disqualified as ‘fake’ or ‘weaponization of Biden’s DOJ’. On the other hand, all the really fake evidence (since there is none, so they have to make it up) against Biden is swallowed line, hook and sinker. Talk about your cult…
  15. I hadn’t thought of that before, but you make a good point. From what I can see, the 50% less carbs comes from more protein, fibre and (unsaturated) fat. I have no interest in any kind of keto diet or whatever. Just found out a few years ago, quite by accident, that this low(er) carb bread is better for my digestion.
  16. “Royal Thai Immigration Commander Orders Crackdown on ‘Foreign Mafia’ in Phuket” I’m sure the domestic mafia (a.k.a. the RTP) will be very grateful and will no doubt reward this royal Thai immigration commander in some kind of way.
  17. Thanks. But I’m no stranger to Thailand, have lived there on and off quite a few times, so I know a little bit what to expect. Just haven’t been back for a few years and was wondering if this kind of bread is available. If not, I will have to make do with ‘ordinary’ whole wheat or whole grain bread. There are a few good bakeries in Hua Hin, I know that much.
  18. Maybe I should clarify my post. Where I live (in Holland) I can buy very good whole wheat bread with about 50% less carbs than ‘normal’ whole wheat bread. It’s also higher in fibres and protein. I will be coming back to Hua Hin for a while in January, though, hence my question.
  19. Is there a bakery/shop in the Hua Hin - Cha’am area that has whole wheat low carb bread? Thanks!
  20. I’m like Teddy Roosevelt: ‘walk softly and carry a big stick’. Plenty of Thai dogs have tried to get at the bone marrow of both my fibula and tibia, but so far they haven’t succeeded, thanks to the big stick.
  21. Maybe first make sure the air that the people using those sidewalks are breathing is a little cleaner.
  22. Maybe he is Darth Vader’s long lost son. The force is strong in him, that’s for sure.
  23. The National Rifle Association is out with a new ad featuring new Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. In the ad, Johnson says he will block any attempts to impose universal background checks or waiting periods before someone can purchase a firearm. https://www.meidastouch.com/news/speaker-johnson-will-oppose-gun-background-checks-or-waiting-periods
