  1. No matter what Trump says. money cannot buy everything. Whilst I am not an empty nest Mum, I am an empty nest Dad for the second time and there is still hole in my heart where both of my sons were. She certainly has my sympathy, and if she thinks that she needs therapy to help her get over it, then go for it. Ignore the chattering class whiners, and do what you think is best for you.
  2. So you only know what was written in the post and rely on that for your information in much he same way as I do, yet you believe that you are right and I am wrong. However as you were not there (neither was I), that your interpretation is right.
  3. Your assumptions were not false then?
  4. So you have no idea where the items came from, no idea if they were live or not and you were never there at all. Why did you bother to post at all?
  5. Of course she should. She was doing her job properly and diligently, when some dumb<****> Aussie strolls up with an 81mm and a 60mm live mortar rounds and some other explosives in his carry on bag. A very good show for Ms Pakkanut Dumlak for doing her boring job properly. He should be in the IDC at Suan Phlu until the next available flight to OZ, where he should be collected by the police and tossed in jail for 5 years. What amazes me is where he got them from and how did he get them past customs nd onto the aircraft from OZ in the first place.
  6. To bring reality into the equation and before Pita can confirm his words, first the party must win a general election with an overall majority of perhaps more than 300 seats. so that they do not need to form a coalition government. Next the party needs to win an overall majority in the senate. If they cannot win either or both then it is just talk and hot air, Thailand already has far too much of that from the current bunch of politicians. The other tricky bit is what will the military do IF he wins? Nothing is cut and dried yet, and until the next election and its follow up, nothing can be guaranteed.
  7. IMO it will cost millions of USD$ to bring iy up to a habitable working an living condition then it will need staffing for 4 shifts 24/7/365. Where will they find enough staff for that. I think that water, electricity can/will be piped from the mainland, but everything else will need to be brought by ship. Does that Trump really understand anything?
  8. Dis you read the post properly, and do you understand the meaning of the word "IF"?
  9. It is what many dictators and illegal military coup leaders do on a regular basis. They have no interest in reality nor in the population that they are controlling. They understand only violence, which keeps the population cowed, and makes them richer.
  10. IMO you can never trust or believe anything that Trump says. What he may say on any given day, he may reverse 2, 3 or more times over the following few days.
  11. It actually is NOT your NHS or my NHS or even "our NHS". It belongs to ALL the British citizens world wide who have paid their contributions. So you are advocating legal theft. There are very many British people living overseas who have paid taxes from their first day at work and will continue to pay tax until they die so why should they be penalised for making their own decisions what to do with their own life, without nanny government interfering.
  12. And all Trump needs to do is to tell Putin to stop the war, remove the Russian military from ALL of the Ukraine and share the rare earth minerals etc. Good luck with that little task. However, do NOT expect the USA to come to the rescue of the Ukraine. Oh Horlicks, I have just remembered that the USA, under Trump, has pulled out of the peace negotiations with Russia and the Ukraine.
  13. And what happens to ALL the NIC contributions that you and your employers were forced to pay in over the year?
  14. IMO smashing all the stuff up with a hammer will only lead yp a bigger pile of broken bits foe me to get rid of, and they will probably end up in a landfill and pollute the environment. Something that I really don't want to do, especially if anything can be salvaged, reused or resold by somebody else.
  15. IF a general election were called this month I think that Reform would win by default. IMHO neither the Labour or the Conservatives seem to have any policies that are attractive to the voters, the Lib-Dems and Greens don't seem to have any policies at all which doesn't leave any other options than Reform, who don't seem to be any better than the rest, but at least they cannot be blamed for for the state that the UK is currently in.
  16. I live in rural Kamphaeng Phet and have a similar problem. We have old mobile phones. a tablet, 2 old laptop PCs, an old desktop, old keyboards, mouse, 4 old UPS, cables, power supplies and I can find no way to dispose of them. I don't want to throw them in the trash as many of them still have the apps and probably some data on the as well. What can I do with them?
  17. Thank you. Mostly I speak the things that I feel and things that I hope that I can do something about. Things that I can do nothing about I tend to file under, things I wish I could do something about, but I know that I can't, and simply get on with life.
  18. I am not sure if he likes the truth or not, but IMHO he doesn't understand or even want to understand it, unless it comes from Trump, in which case it MUST be the truth, because Trump has said so.
  19. IMHO, I don't think that you would need a reciprocal agreement to pay into a UK bank. Again IMHO, there should be a requirement to upgrade ALL state pensions to the current level and a far better Dual Taxation Agreement (DTA) between the UK and Thailand confirming that income tax must always be paid to the country that it was earned in, and not the muddle that it is now. Having said that, I was never a civil servant in the UK HMRC, nor was I ever an expert on international taxation laws.
  20. We never had a problem adopting a kitten/cat. It turned up a few months ago meowing for food. My wife fed it and she adopted us. Now I am the one that feeds it in the morning and opens the kitchen door at odd times if the cat is hungry. She is an outside cat and very sociable but on her own independent terms.
  21. Obviously not as blind as you. having finished insulting me, try to explain what you mean. Sp you have no proof.
  22. Thus speaks the worlds most experienced currency trader and financial expert, with no links and nothing to back what he says, as usual. You must have far more experience than the whole of Moody's staff who do this for a living. Out of curiosity, just what financial experience do you have?
