Thaksin's Peace Promise for South Sparks Doubts and Debate
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yet Thaksin was deposed in an illegal military coup and convicted by a court overseen by the military. If the coup was illegal, then any convictions made during the period and indeed under any military coup government must also be illegal. BTW there is no comparison between Trump and Thaksin, despite your attempt to make it so. -
Of course he hasn't. There is NO data for something that hasn't happened. Instead of responding to him, please put him on ignore and starve him of a response. Not that it will make much difference as he will simply turn up with a different screen name, just like one of those annoying buzzy little flies that you can never quite manage to swat.

Thailand's Auto Output Drops 24.63% as Domestic Sales Falter
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Thank you for the information. However, to gain solar power you first had to spend 160,000 baht. I really don't think that many Thais have that much spare cash lying about doing nothing. -
The $500billion claimed by Trump has already been fact checked and disproven, and if you believe in anything that Trump says, try backing it up with verifiable facts, if you can.

How much does it cost to go solar in the first place, even before thinking about buying an EV? How many Thais do you think can afford to go this route? -
I think tha it ma be Sweden in the photo. There is a very interesting Wikipedia article here about the Gripen. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_JAS_39_Gripen Which countries already have it, which countries have ordered it and a list of countries which are interested in it. The is a cost per flying hour comparing the cost per flying hour of the Gripen, F35, Eurofighter, Rafale, F/A 18 and the F16. and the Gripen comes out the best. IHS Janes seem to have commissioned it and not Saab.

TBH I can't be bothered with dried or frozen bananas in a smoothie. Too much hassle. As for cycling, at 80 I have enough problems walking 50 metres using a walking stick as I have osteo arthritis in both knees and a buggered up back.
-
For breakfast I normally eat 2 bananas plus either 1/2 an apple, mango, part of a melon depending on its size, sliced pineapple or other fruit and a 15 baht yoghurt, and that does me until lunchtime. My wife normally buys me a "hand" of bananas at the local market. The one from Monday afternoon market had 14 bananas and cost 40 baht. The number and price depends on the number and the size of the bananas. I am not on any diet, but I just eat less. After a wile I simply can't eat as much as I used to.

17 Dead in Bus Crash on Hillside Road in Prachinburi

I believe that in the UK, tachographs are mandatory as are drivers logbooks, and that they are rigorously checked as well. I Thailand whilst tachographs and perhaps drivers logbooks MAY be available, smaller companies with a limited number pf vehicles and drivers available won't use them, as they will be too expensive and reduce the number of hours a driver can be used. -
British Man Arrested in Thailand After 25-Year Visa Overstay

Nobody has ever asked me for my passport, living out here in rural Kamphaeng Phet for over 20 years. Perhaps that will change everywhere in the future, due to this idiot. -
British Man Arrested in Thailand After 25-Year Visa Overstay
billd766 replied to snoop1130's topic in Chiang Mai News
IMHO if he moved to a cheaper rental in the very early days, and the owner did not report where he was staying, it would have been easy to get "lost" in the system, especially if he did not bother to report to Immigration in the first place. When he moved to Chiang Mai he probably did the same thing which obviously worked for him. The 90 day report only works if you report to Immigration in the first place, and the TM30 only works if the hotel/guest house/building owner submits the TM30 form to Immigration as well. I don't think that every place in Thailand does that. If he was not married to a Thai, kept his nose clean and caused no problem, most Thais would accept/believe that he had a visa and mind their own business.. How did he renew his passport? I have no real idea, but he may have sent it to a friend or a relative in the UK to be renewed via the Post Office is one possibility. -

It doesn't matter who is offering what, or even which government is subsidising what, if you can't afford to buy it. -
Trump Blasts Michael Wolff Over Explosive New Book on 2024 Campaign
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Well if the book is discredited, then it won't sell many copies. However it seems to have received a very large free public endorsement from the "alleged" victim. Possibly far more that it would normally have received. The more that Trump rages against it, the more free publicity it will get. -

And if the banks and finance companies will not lend the money if they believe that you cannot repay it? If you don't have the funds without borrowing it, then it IS expensive. Given the current debt in the private sector, buying a new car is out of the question for many Thai people, ICE or EV. Try thinking outside the box and your comfort zone. -

Until there is actual proof that can be taken to court and be verified. The allegations were posted in the Daily Wail which has never been a bastion of truth for many years. -

It seems as though ONLY you claim that he has stolen billions yet he is a pauper, and that he has many villas or he is a pauper. Can you not answer a simple question with a simple answer without deflection?

So how many does he have? Not guesswork, but actual verifiable numbers.
