  1. I would say that NOBODY is worth a salary of USD$1trillion or even USD$1billion. All his salary will come from the company profits which means 3 things. 1 Less profits will go to the shareholders. 2 His products are vastly overpriced. 3 There are more stupid people in the world than I thought.
  2. Perhaps as they are Canadians they are tougher than you think. Besides it is only a sprinkling pf snow.
  3. Better for whom? The cultures, food and language are all completely different. At least in Canada the cultures, food and language are similar, and if they have the urge to return, the USA is much closer and easier to reach than Japan or Italy.
  4. Good for the Canadians. The more tourists that boycott the USA, the better.
  5. The current president has NOT delivered peace anywhere, he certainly has not delivered prosperity in the USA nor anywhere else in the world with his pointless tariffs, and as for (snip from your post) Trump proved leadership isn't idiot-proof. If that is correct, why is it that he is so disliked across the world, and even in the USA? I do understand that you are a Trump supporter and take umbrage at any words spoken against him. Take your blinkers off and look at Trump from the real world point of view.
  6. Wrong as usual. The USA needs qualified air traffic controllers far more than it needs Trump. ATC controllers need years of training. Any idiot can become president. Trump has proved that beyond any shadow of a doubt.
  7. Belief in A god is not the same as believing in the one true god. I wonder which one that is. Do you know anybody who has prayed to their god and had a response from that god? I don't. Nor do I know anybody who can actually describe their god. Christians claim he is a white haired old man. Though nobody has met that god. Why should god BE a white haired old man? Why not a young coloured woman? Could it be that that is the way that gods were described in the books that have been written, mostly by priests of that particular god, as they were the only people taught to read and write, by other priests of course. Then you have Freya, who was supposedly a Norse god who was a woman. And there were more female gods in Greek and Roman history, Not that many people worship them as little was written about them and what was written is lost in the mists of time and buried by books written by men. There are hundreds of gods sp why should one very small tribe claim that their god is the one true god?
  8. A good plan. More jobs for the British industry and nothing for the USA.
  9. And which god would that be? The sky fairy that no one has ever seen. Not that many people pray to him, nobody gas ever seen him, nobody has ever had a reply from him, and he only exists on a 4,xxx year old book, Yet millions of people have died on his name,, and people still believe in this fairy story.
  10. Unfortunately my Honda weed whacker spins anti-clockwise so my ratchet handle is set for then other way around as in Lefty loosey and Righty tighty.
  11. Good idea Trump. Blame anybody else for your screwups, but NEVER accept the blame yourself.
  12. But make sure that all the files are completely unredacted. That way, anybody can see that they are the original untampered files.
  13. Som instead of 2 main dealers there are twice as many, Now there are 4 across the whole of Canada, Wow, That does NOT take away the fact that unless you live close to a dealer you will be perhaps 1,000 miles away from a simple thing like a service for your car, let alone from any genuine original source of spares. BTW I was responding to the OP, so the AI response is of no interest to me.
  14. What a load of old cobblers Trump is claiming now. He was NEVER involved at any point, yet he is claiming the "Peace" is all down to him. Just another lie in the endless stream of lies that he spews daily, and the really sad thing is that his supporters, even here on AN, believe him and burst into apoplexies when he states obvious lies like this one.
  15. Buying something like that second hand is fine right up to the time it needs a service or repair and then it turns into a bottomless money pit. Sure you can buy it cheaply but where to get it serviced. At the dealer where you pay premium prices and may wait for weeks for the parts to be ordered and delivered, I just did a Google search for Lamborghini dealers in Canada and the AI search came up with this. AI Overview There are at least two Lamborghini dealerships in Canada: one in Vancouver, British Columbia, and another listed for Montreal, Quebec. While the official Lamborghini website and other sources list these two locations, there may be additional, smaller dealerships or service centers throughout the country that are not as widely publicized. Lamborghini Vancouver: This is a major dealership serving the Vancouver area. Lamborghini Montreal: This is another officially recognized dealership. Other locations: It is possible there are other dealerships or service centers in different Canadian cities, but they are not listed on the official Lamborghini website. A search of the official Lamborghini website and other luxury car sources shows only these two official dealerships in Canada.
  16. But when the hydrogen burnt off the fires were still burning over 2 hours later and that was the diesel fuel from the engines. Hydrogen burns, when it catches fire at about 500C with a blue flame and being lighter that air it burns upwards and not outwards as a normal fire would sideways. Try reading the report in full and it will give you much more information. However, as I said the report is long and boring. most of the witnesses were civilians with no idea how to explain what they saw.
  17. And was the hydrogen, the cause of the Hindenburg disaster? There is a very long and detailed report here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindenburg_disaster It is a long and boring read, and as far as I can read into it, despite investigations by the US, German authorities and others, nothing was ever proven that Hydrogen was the cause, Certainly it was a factor, but investigations also pointed to static electricity or even sabotage/
  18. I was taught about magnets and the magnetic North Pole when I was at school in the UK during the 1950s. We were even taught how to make basic magnets.
  19. The claims are worth ONLY the amount that the court thinks. NOT what you, I, Trump or the plaintiff thinks. If yjr courts think the claim is worth $1,000,000 or zero, that is what THEY and NOT you will award.
  20. Trump being Trump and vindictive as usual. How about the 30,xxx lies that he has spewed over the years? What are they worth? Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.
  21. I agree with you. stopgap | American Dictionary stopgap noun [ C ] us /ˈstɑpˈɡæp/ Add to word list something that can be used until something better or more permanent can be obtained: How can this be described as a "Major win"? All that has happened is the tin can ahs been kicked down the road a bit more. Now if it was fixed so that it never happens again, THAT would be a major win.
  22. OTH the advantages of an ICE in Thailand are that fuel stations are everywhere so once the ICE is refuelled you can sleep soundly even in tour condo and there are far more people capable of repairing and maintaining an UCE on Thailand than are capable of repairing an EV.
  23. I live 6 km from Klong Lan Pattana The problem, is that if I had an EV and charged it in KPP, then 60 km of the battery charge would be wasted simply by driving home, If the following day we had to go to KPP and pass the same point, we would have use 120 km of charge to get nowhere. That of course assumes the there is no power outage from the PEA which happens once ir twice a week, from 2 minutes to a couple of hours at a time.
  24. From what I have read about the F 35, it is not that reliable, it is incredibly expensive to maintain and incredibly expensive to maintain per flying hour. There are rumours that the USA has built in some override functions to prevent free and full activity, though whether that is true or not, I have no idea. It is a good idea for countries to build up their own defence industries, even at the expense of the USA which can no longer, IMHO, be considered as a reliable ally under Trump.
  25. Of course the next good idea to avoid a government shut down would be to pass a law forbidding ANY government recess until ALL the business for that particular session has been completed, at the expense of the recess. If the business is not completed, then there is NO recess until it IS complete. Also pass a bill to pay ALL government employees 24/7/ 365.
