why not look up the definition of genocide on the internet and compare that definition with what Netanyahu, the Israeli "war cabinet" and the IDF are doing in Gaza, the west bank and Lebanon. I just did and came to the conclusion (without the help of the ICC, the ICJ), that Israel is committing genocide.

What I do at 80 years old, is as many odd jobs around the house and land that I know I can do, I try to do as many other jobs that I think I can do, and try to work out different ways to do them, if not I ask for help. I know that there are jobs that I cannot physically do any more, and for those I definitely ask for help. IMHO there will never be a deal or a cease fire whilst Netanyahu and his murderous "war" cabinet remain as politicians in Israel. There is a better chance of a peace settlement with Palestinians and without Hamas. I doubt that the Hamas leaders will ever give up their freedom and surrender to the ICC or the ICJ. The same applies to Netanyahu, his cabinet and the leaders of the IDF. Peace and the withdrawal of the IDF from Gaza may be achieved IF the USA, the UK and the EU stop all ALL arms deliveries to Israel, and Iran does the same with Hamas. Again IMHO it will need a multi-national military army, navy and airforce to enforce it, but they MUST be given the powers to instantly return fire at whoever fires at them. That may work until the body bags start coming home.

It would be far worse than terrible and if I were in the UK or the EU and it went nuclear, I am not sure if I would want to survive. I was based at RAF Wildenrath and my primary task in the event of a war was to be dispersed with the Harrier field force. We figured that they would make the first wave OK, the second wave would be any surviving aircraft of the first wave and what could be quickly repaired to make the second wave. There might have been something left for a 3rd wave, but the 4th wave would most likely have been us with our 7.62 SLR rifles but no aircraft. As for the nuclear deterrent in the navy, the UK does not have that many and the last test firing of a missile with no warhead was a spectacular failure.
