Well to delete anything on my pc, they would have to identify it from the millions of other pc around the world, hack into it and then delete the contents. And then they would have to do the same for every other pc in the world, followed by every tablet, smartphone and storage device, on or offline, cloud based or not.

A good poll and a very interesting thread. Thank you. I read an Ebook for about an hour a night. I have read the first 4 books of Spike Milligan's war memoirs and I started a book called "The Sugar Queen" by Sarah Addison Allen. Some authors books I have read 2 or 3 times as I enjoy them. I used to listen to Audio books but I have run out of the authors I like and haven't found a better source yet. I am 80 now and I first started reading properly when I got my junior library card at about 10 years old. I prefer Ebooks as I can read them on most digital stuff and it is so easy to adjust the size of the text and the fact that I can carry hundreds or more at the same time.

Nice comment. Exactly how many illegal immigrants have you taken in to your home to live with your family?
-
So you should be deported to yor country of origin, and not to a third country.

Trump's Letter to Iran Sets Two-Month Deadline for Nuclear Deal
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
snip from your post. "What a difference a few yrs has made to today". That is probably the truest thing you have said. In those few years, the USA has lost, and is still losing under Trump, friends and allies that it cannot afford to lose, along with the respect of many countries, and the trust that it used to have as the leader of the free world. The rest of the world will probably get along without the USA though sadly IMHO the USA won't be able to get along without the rest of the world. -
But how many were on trial and for for what? Being an illegal immigrant? Being a gangster? Being a terrorist?
-
One easy to know if they were terrorists or not would be to collate the results of the trials. That will be difficult to prove, as they never went to trial in the first place.

Trump's Letter to Iran Sets Two-Month Deadline for Nuclear Deal
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Snip from the OP Former U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly set a two-month deadline for Iran to reach a new nuclear agreement, according to a U.S. official and two sources briefed on the matter. The ultimatum was included in a letter sent to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, raising the stakes for potential diplomatic talks or military action. And how will he get US troops into Iran. I doubt that the EU or NATO will allow him access, and if he sends ships and troops into Arab Gulf. they will have to invade and take over every port and sea access from the Straits of Hormuz up to Iraq. I doubt if any Middle east countries, other than the nuclear armed Israel, will allow him access. That leaves him the USAF, until the body bags start to come home, unless he uses nuclear weapons, which IMHO will be the worst thing he could do. -
MG Halts Pickup Production in Thailand Amid Market Downturn
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
It looks as though the MG dealer in Kamphaeng Phet has closed down for some reason. It is on the route 1 southbound from KPP, and it looked all shut up and deserted and no cars in sight anywhere, not even an MG, on Wednesday afternoon 19 March 2025. -

Thailand Gears Up: Discussions Underway for Formula One Event

Why? I have no interest whatsoever in watching F1. You are probably correct, but that is not what @henryford1958 who I was responding too, actually said. -

But that is not what @henryford1958 who I was replying too, actually said. His words, not mine. Let's hope it's not at Buriram with no accommodation within 50kms. -

Would you like to do a search for accommodation in BuriRam? There seems to be a large number of hotels and booking sites that seem to prove differently to you. -
Personally I prefer to pay COD. That way it is safer as nobody can access my credit/debit card, i don't have to go through the return hassle of using a "wallet", and if it doesn't turn up. then I haven't paid for it anyway. However that is just my opinion, others may differ. Also if I pay in cash I can look at the heap of money and ask myself, do I "REALLY" need this item, or do I simply like and want it?
