    Seems to be a US/ Kurd thing, if we remember how Bush stabbed them in the back after encouraging them to rebel against Saddam and then abandoning them to Saddam's revenge.

    I get the impression that Trump doesn't care much about anyone not an American. Perhaps that is a good thing for Americans. I doubt the average American is in favour of being the world's policeman.

    Don't know if you are being facetious or serious, but if rappers words are indicative of their opinion of women I doubt he cares much beyond his own benefit. NB. I am not familiar with his words, just rappers in general, as I unfortunately overhear on occasion.

    I have no idea as to Jay Z's innocence or guilt, but on that I agree. IMO it's a travesty that the accused is identified without a conviction, while the accuser, who may be lying, is granted anonymity.

    Not saddened, but puzzled that people have not yet seen him for what he is, especially when he and his wife came out so strongly for the IMO worst candidate for POTUS in my lifetime.

    The US public likely isn't going to tolerate any more "invasions" by US forces without a real reason. Far as I know Belarus doesn't have any resources that would interest the US anyway, unlike Ukraine.

    You overlook that the only alternative to Trump was Harris, and most of us know why she was defeated by Trump. If you want to moan about it, blame the Dems for putting up the worst possible candidate.

    Agree about Phuket ( Patong ). It was quite good in the 90s and I went there a few times, but it went downhill and Pattaya was way better.

    Won't be a problem once AI robotics makes 70 to 90% of manual workers redundant. One of the few jobs requiring a human will be in hospital and specifically in aged care. Nothing new about majority of patients being older. That was the case in the 80s when I started nursing.

    Seems reasonable. Get something useful instead of something that will require large financial support, and often with no benefit to the parents once the offspring depart the home.
