IMO that is the actually important thing now. It's pretty obvious to me that Biden has regressed to the intellect of a 15 year old ( being charitable ), so who is calling the shots in the W H? Soooooo, when "Biden" says anything important, is it him, or someone telling him what to say?

Re the posters that still support Biden, I can understand that they hate Trump, I can understand that they supported Biden up till the moment he stumbled onto the stage, but I have absolutely no idea how they can ignore the evidence writ large every time the camera was on him that the guy is in Lala Land and still support him. Most of them are on ignore, but judging by what I've seen quoted, it's all but but but Trump is so bad bad bad. Trump may be a brash liar, but at least he didn't need his wife to help him off the stage afterwards.

So far his dismal disaster was caused by a cold, the flu and now by a weak voice. Could they get any more desperate? The guy's brain was AWOL during the debate and no getting around that- it's all on VDO, and will no doubt be replayed by Trump's campaign many times till the election. Couldn't be bettered as an election campaign ad short of Biden going on tv and saying "I have no brain".

Some of the wall did get built. The gaps were left because Biden cancelled it. Try and get it right. At least one border state tried to stop them with razor wire but federal agents cut it to allow the illegal through.

If you want to start pointing fingers at politicians for being bad people I can think of some that fit that bill in western countries present and past, warmongers all Nixon, Bush the minor, and the ones you know well in israel, London, France and Washington... can you really admire any of their ilk from a humanitarian perspective?

That reporter is a rude idiot. A real reporter gathers news and people's opinions. It's not their place to interject their own opinions into an interview, no matter what they think personally. It's garbage like that which is making news about reporter's opinions and not about what they are supposedly reporting on.

I found his one and only expression to be a bit disconcerting. He always looked a bit puzzled about something. I liked his show on Fox though. He had some good guests.

Cuba was joining a defensive alliance. The US was Cuba's enemy, or have you forgotten the bay of Pigs? If they were in NATO you think the US would not have put nukes on the Russian border? Did the master planner Putin not see this coming? IMO he thought it would be over before that would happen. I think he didn't realise how effective the Ukrainian resistance would be, or how long they would hold on for. I suspect a few advisors are in a colder place now. You think Putin plans everything himself, seriously? He hasn't lasted this long by being stupid.

I said that a while back. I suggested they made him do it to try and make him withdraw after failing ( they must know how bad he is now, and don't want to lose the election ). Doesn't appear to have worked though.

The most interesting part of the debate on CNN was the after analysis, when all the Dem guys were agreeing that Biden was toast, and has to go. Say that again "the DEMOCRAT guys were saying that Biden has to go" WOW. Never thought I'd hear that on CNN, the home of Biden lovers, or did I get that wrong and it's the home of Trump haters? I don't remember them actually saying much if anything about Trump. It was all about Biden. It must hurt when one comes prepared to gloat how Biden owned Trump and he visibly fell apart right in front of them. Such is life.

That's why his base loves him- he doesn't play by Washington rules, just charges head first through them and leaves his opponents wondering "what the heck just happened"? Let's face it, when someone like Biden is actually a candidate for leader of the free world- say that again "leader of the free world, the inmates must have taken over the asylum, and in that case, the best response is to put a clown up for the top job, ergo Trump.

It has indeed. Back in the 70s I was up the top of the Golden Mount and mostly shophouses to be seen. I assure you traffic was just as bad in Bkk in the 70s. I got on a bus and 10 minutes later got off as we had moved not a millimeter. Quicker to walk. The Skytrain has made Bkk far more livable than in the 70s. IMO the smile died last century. It all changed when Thaksin was PM. Corruption became out of control, the farang night scene was destroyed and never recovered. All things considered I would rather be here, in my old age, than anywhere else. As would I. It's the greatest tragedy of my life that my dream of living there till I die never came to pass.

Rubbish. Plenty of places in Bkk that don't have farangs. You have to look for them though, which is why they don't have farangs. How many farangs live in Klong Toey, or China Town? Even been up river far as the river bus goes, or to the end of one of the big canals? I had a GF that lived at the end of a canal and you wouldn't find any farangs up there either.

What happened to you, Thailand? Simples, it became westernised.
