Walt Disney used to put a devil ( ego ) and an angel ( conscience ) on a characters shoulders and the devil would try and convince the character to do something bad and the angel tried to dissuade the character. I'd recommend LOS as a holiday destination, but only if avoiding Bkk, Chiang Mai, Phuket, etc. I'd recommend Pattaya in an hotel on the outskirts as a base for visiting the many attractions in the area. The MHS loop is well worth it, along with much of the north. If he can afford it, hire a van and driver. I did an overland van tour many years ago from Bkk to Chiang Mai, and well worth it. I was the only one booked and they would only take a minimum of 2 customers, so I had to pay for the current at the time temporary GF to go along as well.

I disagree. IMO they knew they can't defeat israel- only a fool would think that. IMO they sought to expose israel's oppression and collective punishment to the world, albeit at the expense of thousands of Palestinian's lives. Perhaps they thought living under israeli oppression was worse than dying. They certainly have exposed israeli barbarity to the world. World leaders and the UN are certainly not ignoring it any more. Perhaps his days are numbered, but he succeeded in bringing Palestinian suffering to world attention. Mission achieved. and we are all going to suffer if WW3 starts, but perhaps the West deserves to suffer for ignoring Palestinian oppression for so long.

That's true. The story line pushed by netanyahu is just that, IMO a story to justify a larger atrocity. Hamas is a group, yes, it has aims and objectives, yes, but IMO it's mainly an idea, an idea that israel can be forced to allow Palestinians to live in freedom from the oppressor. As I have said before, they can kill every Hamas they can find, but Hamas, or it's successor will live on in others. Are they short of recruits? No. Every time they blow children to bits they create a desire for revenge in many that were not previously Hamas. Can israel kill them all? No. Millions of Palestinians live outside israeli reach. Will they take revenge outside israel? Do birds fly? Will israelis live in fear from this point on? IMO yes.

They will probably keep telling us the Ukrainians are winning till the very end. Some were so convinced the orcs were going to get beaten at the very start that it'll be a bit embarrassing if Ukraine has to negotiate for peace.

I suspect this is more psychological than a desire to destroy stuff, given they spaced the attack so most of the missiles/ drones could be destroyed. IMO if they wanted to actually destroy a lot, they would send loads of drones at the beginning to use up the anti missile missiles, and then send the ones with payloads in right after them. The Ukrainians must be limited by the amount of launchers they have, which means they can only launch so many anti air missiles against incoming missiles.
