At least I can agree with that part of the OP. IMO if that is their aim, and what proof exists of that, they are succeeding. Even if the governments of America and Britain etc are in boots and all to the israeli slaughter, their citizens have other opinions. The longer the massacres are shown on the tvs of the world, the faster western governments will no longer be able to ignore the outrage. https://www.kron4.com/news/bay-area/gaza-peace-activists-chain-themselves-to-u-s-ship-at-oakland-port/ A large demonstration calling for a ceasefire in Gaza was held at the Port of Oakland Friday as activists attempted to prevent a federal ship from leaving the port. A banner displayed at the protest read, “No US military aid to Israel.” .................................... The crowd chanted, “Oakland Port blood on your hands,” and, “We charge you with genocide.”

Given the constant rise in dead Palestinian children, one wonders how long before those "celebrities" realise they are not on the right side of history, and start walking back their praise for a POTUS obviously not serious about a "pause" let alone a ceasefire. Meanwhile in the UN a speaker has stated that israel IS committing a war crime. As seen on Al Jazeera. Not so long ago they would not have said that. Looks like Hezbollah is going to get involved if the attacks don't stop, cue Iran and the wider conflict that America is so eager to prevent will be all on.

Agree with you. What some don't understand is that Hamas fighters are probably prepared to fight to the death, as they know what will happen to them if captured. The israeli reservists are probably just wanting to go home. It's different attacking an enemy that fights back, than what they experienced when bullying unarmed Palestinians under occupation.

Any MIG welders in Chiang Mai that can show me the basics?

DIY learning is the best option, given the skill level exhibited by the shower that my wife hired to weld gate hinges. The gate fell off the next day as the clown hadn't cleaned the surface first. I welded it on myself. -
Foreign Tourist Attacked by Hostile Youngsters in Pattaya

Just to be pedantic, Rome wasn't "stopped". It became so rotten from within that the mercenaries the Romans hired to protect them just took over. Somewhat like the current situation in our civilisation! -
Foreign Tourist Attacked by Hostile Youngsters in Pattaya

I don't believe it was for no reason. IMO there will be a reason, but seems the victim doesn't want to say what it was. I've only seen three assaults on farangs in all my time there. One was a farang moron in a Nana gogo that got beaten up for abusing a girl ( he deserved it ), a farang guy that p***ed off a bar girl in Pattaya, and a farang with a bar girl that was pursued into the restaurant I was in that must have done something to make the guys chasing him angry. Apart from that the only times I felt unsafe was from drunk farangs. -
Carbon credits/ tax has to be the most blatant scam ever perpetuated on humanity by the 1%, in my opinion. Unfortunately the sheeple have been brainwashed by the non education they get to think it's a great idea. If they were serious about pollution they'd ban all leisure flights, all private planes, ban private cars in cities, ban those big superyachts, go nuclear power, and mandate solar on every roof. That they do nothing about the simple solutions indicates to me that it's a sham.

I must have lived in a completely different Thailand than yourself. Perhaps we live in parallel universes and are able to communicate through a worm hole. In your universe, Thailand is ruled by such unimaginably awful people that it's hell on earth, and in mine it's a lovely country ( outside the cities ) with lovely people ( for the most part ) that are mostly accepting of their lot ( even if not so much as 30 years ago ). I just never thought about Thailand's rulers in the way you did ( with the exception of Thaksin and I cheered when he got his ). I didn't think they were fantastic or awful, and they were not worse than any other country I lived in, with the exception of Saudi.

Not madness at all. It should never have been stopped in the first place, and anyone living in the Base deserves it, IMO. -

There was one in Pattaya that used to go around the bars selling some sort of fruit ( that I don't know ). Had the silicone boobs and looked a bit sad. Not at all attractive. I think that once they lose their looks they just go back to the village and hide. I don't know the stats in LOS, but I understand the suicide rate is quite high in transgenders. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5178031/ Suicide rate and suicidal tendencies among transgender persons are considerably high compared to general population.
