and that would only increase his support and financial contributions, as has happened every time they come up with yet another attempt to cancel him. I for one am happy that the forces of hatred are having to consider the consequences of any over reach. This is getting very interesting. I wonder when the movie is going to come out?

EVs Might Not Cost A Butt Load Soon
thaibeachlovers replied to placeholder's topic in The Green Forum
One little thing stopping EVs taking over- too expensive. How many million cars on any city's roads every day? Just how many people driving those cars could afford to drive a new EV? Even if they could, there won't be enough EVs to replace all the ICE cars for decades. I doubt it's going to happen in many people alive now's lifetime. -

More likely introduce road user charges to stop people using solar to get cheap driving. NZ has road user charges for all diesel vehicles. -
Gordon Ramsay’s group set to open 14 restaurants in Thailand

????????????? That was possible even without a celeb chef setting up shop in LOS. -
100% agree. That is likely what Zelenski is attempting to do in his current "charm" tour of the US. He probably knows that if he negotiates now, having said he will never do so, he is done as the "leader", and he has to know he can't win without more direct involvement by other countries. IMO he has to get that direct support or see the financial aid drying up as other countries go broke due to the current financial crisis ( assuming they are not already broke and having to borrow money to give to Ukraine ).

Seems like the only ones calling for this support to be dropped are those pushing a pro Putin agenda. Pathetic comment. It's possible to oppose the massive financial cost born by the American ( and other country's ) taxpayer to make a proxy war against a country that was not likely to attack their country, without being a Putin stooge . What else would a general say? It doesn't mean he's right. Of course, he is immune to the financial problems affecting the common man, sitting in his nice office with a big salary, so he doesn't need to worry about being able to buy food or pay his mortgage. The US military and the military industrial complex have done very nicely out of portraying the Russians as the boogyman that will only be kept at bay by the billions of $ that the US taxpayer has sent their way, a boogyman that was shown to be a bit sad after the fall of the Soviet Union. If the Russians didn't exist, I suppose they would have had to invent an enemy to justify their massive tax take.

and yet, they seem to be holding their front line ( mostly ) despite the much anticipated Ukrainian counter offensive, which has apparently only resulted in some villages being captured, and they seem to have plenty of drones to attack Ukrainian facilities. I seem to recall some posters claiming a year or so ago that Russia was about to run out of shells way back then, but they must have been misinformed.

Sooooo good to hear your opinion ( 55555555555 ), given I don't remember you posting on this thread before. I guess you just came on to attack me, which is rather naughty given the forum rules.

Did you sort that? It is as easy as it looks as long as you remember which way to apply it.

My BIL built an outside bathroom and buried the basin outflow. Unfortunately the outflow ended in the ground with no way for the water to escape! Across the road they built a block of workers rooms and the grey water was piped into an open drain which drained in the big stormwater canal that ran outside our house. The joys of livin' in LOS.

Makita? I had a great ( and expensive ) Makita SDS drill, but the BIL stole it after I got divorced.

Seems we agree on something. -
You seem to have a problem with believing that you know more about this than other posters.
