Given the media "attention" to any POTUS candidate it's no wonder that good people don't want to do that anymore, IMO. I hope that either Biden or Harris are the candidate ( I could wish for Hillary, but that'd be very unlikely ) as if either of them stand IMO it's likely a landslide for whomever the GOP candidate is.

That's what has been happening all along. The west supplies weapons and ammunition so Russia sends missiles to blow up power stations, and so it goes. I think it's called mission creep- one side escalates and the other side retaliates. Whichever country is "responsible" is somewhat irrelevant to that. There is a war, and each side will do whatever it can to win till one side decides to negotiate or surrender.

I doubt that is correct. IMO it should be semi automatic rifles. I doubt anyone can walk into a gun shop and buy automatic weapons ( keep firing as long as finger on trigger ) without a special permit.

While it's easy to say that gun control would stop the mass killings, in a country awash with guns I doubt it would make any difference. If banned from legal sale they would be available on the black market. Also, if a ban was actually possible, IMO most would go out and buy them before it became law. America is such a dangerous country with armed criminals that I doubt many want to be unable to defend their family in the event of a home invasion. Anyway, to actually make a real difference, the constitution would have to be amended, and I doubt that would happen.

Perhaps you can explain why it was unproductive? Did the missiles not stop flying after Trump visited. What did you expect anyway, that Kim should agree to ban nuclear weapons or something?

IMO it would be unusual if a Bkk taxi driver picking up from the airport did not speak/ understand English. Perhaps in Nakon Nowhere it would be expected. If one can't print out the details of hotel prior to departure, just go to information on arrival and ask them to write it out in Thai. Worked for me back before internet was even a thing.

Yes. If the hotel is on the internet they usually have an address/ phone number so print that out to give to the driver if it's in Thai.
