  1. IF being the relevant word. Sounds to me like he didn't need help, the GF over reacted and the OP made a wrong assumption. Of course I wasn't there, so I'll never know if I'm right or not.
  2. IMO only if he's really obstructed. If it's just something gone down the wrong way he will make that plain, even if he can't speak properly.
  3. That's your choice. What other people choose is their business.
  4. I don't get what is so funny about that. It's a fact he doesn't have to give sinsod for a woman with kids.
  5. I don't see anything "bizzare" with his comments. Just saying what is reality for some. In a way he is like my father- once I was working he took off to the other side of the world ( without me ). Can't get more uncaring than that, IMO.
  6. IMO technology doesn't change anyone, it just allows people to say things they'd never say to someone they could say. Eg I can say how I feel about women without being crucified, or burnt at the stake. However some technology is really bad like, IMO, social media, which allows the worst in people to influence the weak minded. If I had children I'd never let them have a smart phone as they might get bullied on it and kill themselves ( worst scenario ), but seems an awful lot of kids get traumatised because their parents give them smart phones.
  7. He doesn't owe any sin sod on a woman with children. At the most give something for show and get it back after ( what I did ).
  8. 55555555555555555 Took me 5 years to find out that the women I first lived with wasn't worth my time. She was a good woman, but not right for me. You try to make it like we can have auditions for a partner, but life isn't like that.
  9. IMO politics used to be the art of doing nothing while appearing to do something, but now it seems to be about making things worse while claiming to make the world a better place ( and getting rich along the way ). Want to make the world a better place? IMO apply Douglas Adams solution.
  10. Phayao is nice. Loved driving around the lake on the m'bike. Close to loads of nice day trips in the hills. Plenty of restaurants along the lake to suit all tastes. Quiet town, no farangs to speak of.
  11. Snap. I too went to NASA. Amazing place full of Thai kids drinking Johnny Walker. Only went because a group of female colleagues from Saudi met up with me quite by chance in Bkk and wanted to go to a club. Just asked a taxi driver to take us to one and he went there. https://bk.asia-city.com/nightlife/article/history-clubbing-bangkok Nasa (Ratchada) Back before the new age restrictions were imposed by the government, the majority of clubbers were aged under 20. But NASA was designed to provide late-night entertainment for the 20-something crowd. The venue’s design took its cues from the space race to which it owed its name: a huge hangar complete with smoke machines, flashing lights and a sound system blasting dance hits. It was capable of packing in some 4,000 partiers a night.
  12. and you are welcome to do so, but that doesn't mean it applies to all. My father never gave up anything for me- he certainly didn't do it for sex. He never remarried or had a G F after the divorce.
  13. IMO your views on the subject are erroneous. Why do you think only sex addicts marry those younger women? Could it be because women their own age don't want sex at all? Wanting a sex life with someone we like is not a deviant lifestyle- it is completely normal.
  14. Did you not see where the OP said " No bogans, chavs or wannabes."? However, I always stopped at Pai on the bit of road where honeymooners can get their photo taken in front of a big heart thing. Great scenery and lots of nice restaurants. I only made the mistake of going through the area the bagpackers hang out once- the horror the horror.
  15. I thought her family was OK first visit. Wasn't till I lived with them that they showed their true colours. Of course some families are wonderful and some ratbags, just like in the west.
  16. Couldn't count the times I've wanted to do that to some brat let run wild by their revolting parent. Of course in this brave new world I'd never act on the desire. I'm surprised that his corpse hasn't been given the same treatment as Oliver Cromwell's on January 30 1661 for that movie clip.
  17. I like that saying. The only area I never went in LOS was Issan. I once thought about it but the GF slapped the idea out of me.
  18. Best advice I've seen so far. One can get to meet them without being held hostage. If the OP ever feels he needs to escape he can say he's tired and has to go back to the hotel for a rest.
  19. Nailed it. The idea that any man is "experienced" with women has me chortling fit to bust. However, some guy that had it off with a few slappers behind the dumpster might be fooling himself that he knows it all about humans without a penis- he doesn't. IMO women have been making a living off men since they lived in caves while men went off to risk their lives fighting the sabre tooth tiger to bring home the dinner.
  20. a/ if you like her and think there is some hope of a real relationship eventuating go. Then you can see what her parents are like and if you want to live with someone that might end up like them. b/ You can also see where you'll be living if it gets to the stage that she wants you to live with her in Issan. Just Issan might be enough to put you off. C/ Are you sure the kid really is sick and it's not a variation of the sick buffalo thing? PS I doubt that is "love" you are feeling- rather another word starts with l.
  21. Lots of us do, but lots of us are stupid too. I did, but I was stupid back then. I didn't make that mistake second time.
