  1. You obviously are lacking experience with glass media. I for one don't make fantastic claims. There is a large distintion between recycled plate glass and recycled bottle galss. The later causes more problems than it supposed to solve. My experince with "Recycle Plate Glass" over 6 yrs & Zeolite the previous 8 yrs shows that the former is better! By the way I don't own a shop or sell chemicals. I have been in the industry for 30 yrs, (4 countries) mostly commercial till Thailand. Shops are a headache to say the least!
  2. The reason you get a better result by adding DE media is because it builds up a bit more pressure which the filter needs to do its job properly! Trouble is that most people think by doing weekly or more backwashing, they will get a better result! Not so. Typical domestic pool will be fine with monthly or even longer till a backwash is required. Or do it with the pressure gauge if it is working! Bather load is also a factor.
  3. Again putting all glass media into the same basket! Wrong again!
  4. Sorry bobholds. PebbleCrete was not in this thread! However those pools are not liners! Cheers
  5. Can alway use a Thai to recieve payment if you trust them! (100% that is)!
  6. Only partially true. Why does everybody not understand there are two types of crushed recycled glass???? I have already explained them. So not wasting my time again! Saying that Zeolite is standard for hospital is complete rubbish! It is a good media and streets ahead of sand, however "Eco" recycled plate glass is better! I will stick to my experience and many happy customers to date! Some have already changed from zeolite to "Eco"
  7. These are all PebbleCrete! Why don't you read the thread! You are way off! I don;t recomend liners either!
  8. I have used Zeolite for 8 yrs and the following 6 yrs "Eco Clear" recycled plate glass and in my experience Eco does the same and more than Zeolite. (Zelbrite is a brand) Eco doesn't hold onto Biofim where as Zeolite does! But there is a big distinction between recycled plate glass and recycled bottle glass!
  9. I have had them since 13. Wouldn't be with out them! Bahahaha
  10. There is an official letter you get from the Labour office when you cancel the W/P. This is reqyuired for the change of Visa. You may need a copy of the company papers as well. They also require the reason for cancellation. Or get the company to do it for you if you are on good terms with them.
  11. Spot on! The coarse is to cover the laterals!
  12. No doubt that DE is good filtration. Eco is just as good, cheaper and no ongoing consumerables! The reason they use the DE as a mobile set up is becuase they are lighter than a sand filter!
  13. So how long was the Zeolite in use? It clogs up espeicially with high metal content in the water. "Eco Clear" doesn't have this issue and is as good as DE without the ongoing consumerables and hassles!
  14. What the hell has the jabs got to do with PayPal?
  15. "Eco Clear" recycled plate glass is just as good as Zeolite! Zelbrite is a brand name. In fact it is better! "Eco Clear" doesn't clog up with metals or algae like Zeolite which then needs recharging with brine or replacing! In this test you can bet they used bottle glass not recycled plate glass as the microns show. Big difference! "Eco Clear" filters down to 3 microns.
  16. Another ridiculous reply! You obviuosly know jack ???? about filtration especially drinking water!
  17. I have tried to get accepted for over a 2 yrs. Changed my intro vid 4 times. Got qualifications. No response nothing. Changed my email and lost the application and had to start all over again. Don't hold ya breath!
  18. Add to that - at night it seems no water in the pool! No speckles in the water around the lights is proof enough!
  19. Well said & pertinent! I love this - As a parting thought there may well be a few cowboy companies out there, but from my personal dealings there are more cowboy customers.!!! Cheers! ????????
  20. Absolute rubbish! Are you in the industry? I doubt it! My experience is enough to know about the difference in the "So called crushed glass is all the same" Did my homework & add that to many dozens of happy customers both commercial & domestic! You keyboard warriors are all the same! (Know Jack ????) other than Google! Bahahahaha Please explain to me about the "Electrification" on the top of the medias in Q's and how it effects filtration!
  21. It is not normal glass media. You comment shows your ignorance. I will stick with my 6 yrs of experience with the product and many dozens of happy customers! Rather than debate with a Google ex pert!
