Seen this many times here. The smell is chloramine which is a gas that is formed when chlorine reactes with amonia. They obviously are using 90% Tri-Chlor which comes mostly in granular or powder form. It has a very low pH value as well. Acidic water is what causes the sting. The chlorine levels will come down naturally. The pool guy would just be doing the same robotic actions every time he comes to service the pool. Unless he changes his actions it will keep on keeping on!

After recharging the filter with recycled plate glass media (Eco Clear) the 1st backwash "may" take longer. However every backwash after the first one is actually shorter, saving on water, chemicals & or salt!

Anybody up to date with applying for a S/entry 90 day Non B visa. Are financials required or is just the company papers, application, I.D (Passport) etc required? I getting mixed messages and my lawyer wants 35 k to process everything including the work permit. We want the B visa 1st. The potential employee is travelling back to Oz and we want to know if he should get whilst back there (2 months) or do a run to Cambo or Laos? A friend just did a Visa run to Laos for the B visa at a cost of total 15 k all in. (For a International School) He stated he was not aware of any financials in the paperwork.

Rubber tape & it is water tight. Not sure of the brand name. But my supervisor gets it from most hardwares.

Lucky as heaps are lemons! Even my local pool shop which I sometimes get bits & bobs always has a few on the floor waiting to go BKK for repairs. A far as cleaning - good job. However it's oils that stop production. So a little dishwashing detergent will do the job prior acid/water clean as acid won't clean the oil.

Worst machine on the market! Doesn't like irregular power. I had 10 blow on me in 1 condo complex. Looks like the same issue you have & caused by brownouts! Have many that I replaced with decent machines. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately most people go for price over a little research & extra cost. They are totaly over rated with the output! Decent machine would be in the 40 - 60 K range depending on the size/ volume of the pool or water The main supplier of this brand has a full time team doing warranties. Go figure!

Wrong again on so many points. Shouldn't you get a consultancy job? You would make a fortune! Bahahahahaha ????????????????

A few factors involved. Access & ground conditions for a start. No weather issues 2 months. Can be quicker if you chose modular panel system which we offer. https://youtu.be/KvMUSY2VG4w Cheers Steve

Need L X W x Average Depth. 20 - 22 k per sq/m from a VAT registered company. Can get a lot cheaper of back yard cowboys! (Plenty of them but beware)! Depends on what final finish & level of the equipment quality. Also on where? Cheers

Jacinda Ardern says she will resign as New Zealand prime minister

That was a manufactured scenario! It worked and Oz is stuffed for being an independant & quality nation of producing many things. Now it is just a owner of many quarries! All part of the bigger plan which is unfolding before our eyes now! -
Changing Sand - Sand Filter Cleaner?
Bagwain replied to FarangRimPing's topic in Swimming Pool Forum
River sand is from broken down rocks and is constantly breaking down in nature. To say otherwise is pure ignorance! Sand media in filters breaks down whether you believe it or not. The time it takes comes down to the type of sand and the amount of backwashing being done. -
What type of pool? Salt or Chlorine, the good, the bad, the ugly...
Bagwain replied to IMHO's topic in Swimming Pool Forum
Look up PebbleCrete for the surface finish. Hardest surface on the market with a 5 year product warranty. Low maintenence and gets better with age 100% natural quartz based product with no sand or polymers in the mix! https://youtu.be/FxU7-1MY--E Colours.pdf -
Changing Sand - Sand Filter Cleaner?
Bagwain replied to FarangRimPing's topic in Swimming Pool Forum
If it is normal not silicate sand and it's over 2 yrs old it needs changing. Silicate sand 5 yrs. Water will go milky very quickly after rain. Water looks dull & sometimes broken down sand will empty through the inlets to the pool.
