I had western Union sent over every month for the 1st 3 years of being here.. i must say i wish i had known about moneygram as like the person above says much better than WU.. the rate that WU give you is nothing short of a con!!

Lets put it this way.. if you leave the country then your 90 days start from when you arrive back in thailand make no mistake about that, whether the notice has to be removed or not im not 100% sure but i would say so as that is no longer the day you next go back to report so why do you need it...it sounds like this guy either doesnt know his job correctly or he is hoping that you dont know the visa laws correctly!!!

I just wanna add that it gives me the hump when people blatently tell you hoese crap and then expect you just to believe it, it get right on my nerves!!

Rightly or wrongly i have already started my 3 month son on stage2 as stage 1 wasnt filling him up, i was gonna put him on 3 but their is alot lower stuff in 3 than 2, IMHO i would and will use stage 3 and 4 rather than use cows milk as cows milk is meant for cows not humans so it doesnt have the same amount as nutritonal value for small children who depend on it...from what my friends and family have said a child will just one day decide they dont want milk anymore..

everybody is different and what im trying to explain to my MRS is everybody has a opinion and there is no right way or wrong way just what ever you think is best..

I have now fixed the problem.... it is quite bizzare but from the external drive being completly unaccessible in windows and asking me to format/initalize the drive while attached to the USB case/plug..i stripped it down then plugged the it straight onto the motherboard and bingo when it came up it was all intact..so a tip for future users..if it fails on the USb then strip it down and plug into a motherboard..

I found a program yesterday that was able to play torrent vids on my Ps2 but to do this i needed a drive that was formated fat, so stupidly i shrinked my external ntfs drive with all my songs etc on and then created a seconf fat partition and plugged it in...well now im at the stage where i have no 'broken' my drive and all my 10,000 songs aswell as it is asks me to format the drive in windows but i know as soon as i do this then all my data is gone..does anybody know of a good scan disk or a way to get the info back??

As for myself, started in 1965 (not counting the analog computer I built in high school) with Honeywell, Burrough's and Univac big iron while in the military. Afterwards a z80 computer kit with 8" floppy and tape recorder for programming. Did a lot of assembly language on it modifying the DOS and bios of the system and running CP/M. Then to PDP09 PDP11 PDP15 LSI-11 series DEC computers then DEC VAX minis and probably every generation of PC processor types since. Speaking of the 4004, designed a control/display system with one at the university I worked at.

Also the Plato system at the University of Illinois. Plasma based vectored touch screen terminals that played games pretty well. IBM 360/370's including assembly language programming during my computer science studies.

I wonder if anyone could help me find the telephone number and/or website for TH GSM and AIS. I purchased a new cell phone in Udon Thani and wish to retain the Thai cell phone number. Currently, the cell phone has a Thai sim card (1 2 call Freedom) that expires at the end of October.

I have tried searching TH GSM and AIS for their telephone numbers and websites so that I can contact them and ask them some questions about overseas service (Canada), and keeping the phone number. After many hours of searching at places such as AIS Call Center, and AIS Windows Internet, no contact number appears.

Any information that you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are you talking about the international number as iv just put AIS call centre in google and the very 1st link tells you the call centre number

Hi i don't mean to hijack your thread but,

I have a child to my thai wife he was born in England and has a British Birth certificate we are just in the process of applying for a british passport for our trip to Thailand in Jan. Can our son get a thai birth certificate and passport at any age?? he is just over 2 now.

Can he also get a Thai ID card?? does he need to be registered on the family book and how is this done?

Hey jay just to anwser your question as iv just had a little boy only he is born in thailand, i recommend that you just wait until you come over to thailand to sort it out, just go to the missus local amphur so she will register the birth and put the child on a house book(this has to be done whatever age), then apply for the passport here which only take 1 day if done at bkk.. the ID card comes at 15

Hi i did mine a few months back and apart from having a cob about the price they charge, (i mean come on how can they justify 10.5k for a 50 pager when a thai one is 1k) anyway i went to immigration with both passports and they changed the visa over for me..no problems no fuss just a nice relaxed pleasant time.

If my missus was being like that and she wanted 25k and using the childern as bait i would make sure that the only way she would get it was by giving me custody of them otherwise once its 25 then it might be another 25 and another etc
