You do seem to make a habit of not reading (or not understanding) the linked article. Here, I'll help you: The truck driver, Mr. Jarin Petchad, 30, told police that he was turning into Soi Nong Ket Yai 7 when he collided with the motorcycle. He claimed he was unaware of the motorbike and only realized about it upon impact.

Thai man’s arm severed outside liquor store after smoking dispute
Bangkok Barry replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Well, the smoker lost face. That's enough. The savagery in this country is totally off the scales. You can be maimed or killed over nothing at all, and they are not isolated incidents. These things happen almost on a daily basis. -
Big Joke woes: Warrant issued for money laundering
Bangkok Barry replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Yep! The Thaiger strikes again. Why does AN persist in sending us these daily reports that are either full of inaccuracies or full of nothing. Does this reflect the standard that AN wants to present? I just don't get it. -
Are there any vape-free nightlife venues left?
Bangkok Barry replied to PingRoundTheWorld's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Vaping is illegal in Thailand but it's happening at places (indoors and outdoors) around Bangkok, you need to get away from your keyboard more and venture out the front door and OPEN YOUR EYES. It's more widespread than you think. I suppose the next thing you're going to ask me is for names, dates and venues for proof! Lots of things are illegal in Thailand but are still happening. I think you need to OPEN YOUR EYES to recognise that what I wrote was sarcasm. Others recognised it as such, something clearly beyond you. Have a nice day. -

Vapes are illegal in Thailand so you must be hallucinating. All the YouTube and other videos of people vaping - always women, strangely - are AI fakes. -

It's because Thailand is friends with Putin. Read the news. -
Russian couple’s dine and dash attempt exposed in Phuket restaurant

As history has shown, most of the world's troubles are centered around religion and artificial borders recognized only by humans and no-one and nothing else. -
Russian couple’s dine and dash attempt exposed in Phuket restaurant

It has absolutely nothing to do with looking down on Thai people or treating them as slaves. It has everything with the Russian couple being low-lifes that Thailand is so skilled at attracting. -
When I had 3BB installed they came on a Sunday and because of a problem worked until 11.30 pm to get it working. We just gave them some Chang and potato chips and they were happy, sitting on the floor doing whatever it was they had to do to get the connection. Imagine that in Farangland.

Just proves they make up the rules, doesn't it. Another branch of Siam might well have opened an account. I have no idea why your length of stay in the country has anything to do with having an account. Thais seem to get a hard-on making up rules for no reason at all, just to complicate things and be difficult. I used to have accounts in New York and Melbourne as a convenience for receiving my earnings there, even though I spent only weeks in each location.

My experience is that PEA are brilliant at fixing things. All hours, all weathers, they'll come out and do what needs to be done.

Only 17,000 untargeted civilians dead in Gaza. That's okay then. Against 1,139 killed in the Hamas attack. I'm sure Israel is thrilled with your support. -

I do not know the exact number, bit it hasn't been 30 000 civilians killed, that is for sure Are you really that gulliable, beleiving what you are told with no independent verification that it's the truth? Do you believe Putin too when he said he invaded Ukraine to stop a Nazi takeover? Out of over 30,000 killed I'm sure that there were terrorists included in that number, but there are many, many thousands killed who were not. Israel's reaction to the Hamas attack has been, if you'll excuse the expression, overkill in every sense. Is there any nation on Earth now that has said otherwise? Even Israel's staunch ally, the USA, who at first said they would support Isael "no matter what", has stepped back and demanded they stop the killing. Not only that, the Americans are even helping the Palestinians that Israel is starving with airdrops of food. And, for a force to claim they are not targeting citizens, they sure have made many thousands of mistakes. -

Can you point to documentary proof of that, please. Certified by an independent body. Thanks. -

The very fact that Israel could cut off water supplies, electricity and even food underlines what you say. The Palestinians have lived in what is essentially an open prison for many decades. Israel claims it isn't targetting civilians - they've only killed over 30,000 by mistake. Sorry about that. They are just collateral damage. -

Hamas didn't murder over 30,000 people and send the survivours close to famine. Seems now that there isn't a single government suporting the world's only officially sanctioned terrorist nation, with even the USA making less than veiled comments that the killing has to stop.
