    If you have been working in Thailand you may be able to pay Class 2 voluntary contributions. So you will pay a lot less. It's great value. Class 2 would be around 180GBP per year, compared to around 800GBP for Class 3. I think you should phone the International DWP office to get better information. Sometimes extra payments do not get you extra pension.

    My wife gets our daughters name embroidered on her school shirts at Lotus south on Sukhumvit road. They also do embroidered badges etc. Go in by the entrance nearest the outlet mall. The machinist is just inside, near the escalator.

    My private pension providers use email. Any documents/sensitive information is protected by password. Meanwhile, DWP and HMRC refuse to communicate by email for reasons of "security" but have no problem sending and receiving the same information using easily identifiable envelopes by snail mail, which pass through the hands of numerous postal workers (and can take 2-3 weeks to arrive).

    Did the ATM give you the choice of paying in your own currency or local currency. If you choose your own currency it will cost more. Some ATMs may offer you a ‘service’ of being charged in your local currency (i.e. GBP).
