Boarding a boat isn’t illegal and you don’t need a passport check or visa for that. So what do you expect the French police to do?

While I don’t think that freedom of speech should cover lies and hatred, no one’s freedom of speech has been suppressed. Because freedom of speech is not the right that everyone needs to let you into their living room to spread your bs.

Studies from Germany show that their first Covid patients had lost their antibodies already 3 months after they were cured. Even for a vaccine, the big question will be how long it will provide immunity. Even the flu shot has to be renewed every year.

The topic of our discussion was who has the authority to fire a country’s nuclear weapons. There you have it for the case of the US. So your argument that other countries have “checks and balances” is refuted. In both cases, US and North Korea, you have the nuclear arsenal in the hands of a dictator. Except the North Korean at least has a bit more brain than the US one.
