  1. Strange. My wife's applications all went very smoothly the last of which resulted in a 5 year visa allowing 6 month stays. Don't recall her having to endure anything.
  2. On which day did you decide you'd waited enough and go and ask the agency where it is? Or was it them that said it may be missing?
  3. Just do the same, make sure it is the AIS SIM that is in use. Will cost nothing.
  4. I had wondered the same but of course there is nothing really clear about what is required. I think the £10k is however applicable to multi-entry which I have read are being issued, at least for retirement.
  5. That makes 2 of you who have no idea. But 2 years after the event I suppose it really doesn't matter.
  6. That 0.00 balance is your True Money balance. *123# for up to date SIM balance.
  7. Me too but that is Irrelevant. This thread is about spouse visas (the clue is in the title).
  8. I thought it was income of GBP18600 or savings GBP62500 (or a combination).
  9. Yes. it does And also the monthly free withdrawal limit is very low, GBP200 for instance. After GBP200 it's GBP0.50 per withdrawal and 1.75% on anything over GBP200. And if you don't hold a THB balance there will also be a conversion fee.
  10. You could get a single non-O in the UK which would give you 90 days. You would need to show either a pension or GBP10k in the bank.
  11. Which is irrelevant in this case as that is not what he will have. As is often the case the wrong terminology has been used throughout this thread.
  12. I know. But I was indicating that perhaps if the OP's situation was actually better known it might make answering/advising rather easier.
  13. I read a tale about somebody recently (since 1 April) arriving in Chiang Mai and getting a 30 day visa exempt entry. They then are travelling around Thailand for some time and expect to be back in Chiang Mai 35 days or so after arriving and are hoping that this eventual overstay will not prevent them getting an extension. Or maybe not, who knows.
  14. Main page and online banking both working fine just now. I'd try another computer/browser/connection if I were you.
  15. The guest house should do a TM30 for him (they are obliged to do so but not all do) so ought to be able to give him a copy of it (usually done online so a screenshot of their submission should be enough).
  16. It's been some years but I have been to Sarawak several times and did not need any special paperwork or visa for entry. You do need your passport even if arriving from West Malaysia and will be stamped in and out. As far as I recall the entry period was the same as the West side, 90 days in my case.
  17. I never use it but seems you add the paragraph headings to update the table of contents. The option appears as standard at the bottom of my 'Insert' menu with a new unedited document as below;
  18. I've used it for 10+ years and can send money between accounts, pay people and bills, get statements, etc. If it is exactly the same as the phone app (obviously payment functions are not there) I'm not sure but does all the normal online things as far as I can tell.
  19. I mean online banking at https://online.kasikornbankgroup.com/kbiz/
  20. I get the same errors, also in the UK. I have assumed it is looking for a Thai network rather than a Thai SIM and anyway as I don't have data roaming enabled I will wait till I am back in Thailand. Meanwhile I can do anything I need to using online banking.
  21. 21:00 according to my timetable (https://12go.asia/en/bus/bangkok/pattaya?stations_from=4058)
  22. You don't have a visa you have an exempt entry (whether extended or not). If you leave the country you have nothing and nothing happens. If you come back you will now get a 30 day exempt entry (no longer 45).
  23. For future reference, your hotel is obliged to report you to immigration via the TM30 when you arrive, that's why they ask for your passport. They mostly do it online and can give you a printout of the report if you ask them nicely.
