I'm in the same boat.A friend told me about Lazada a few years ago.I used to look for household items at Big C, Lotus etc the big box stores wasting time. Mostly the staff were useless for assistance or would pressure for a sale. I now use Lazada/Shopee for all that stuff. I find it's not necessary to travel to these places anymore. It pays to compare though. That being said I find the shipping fees are creeping up probably the same as everywhere else.

FYI..I used Wise for the 1st time last month to have my pensions from abroad sent to my Kbank account.Cheaper by 80% than using my own bank. Easy to use and the transfer was completed in minutes as opposed to days. I'll be using them for here on in.

T.T. Currency Exchange On 2nd Rd near the South Pattaya intersection.I used them a few months ago to buy USD but mostly 100,s. They were all very new looking.I can't think of where to get a large amount of small denominations. Maybe in PP? I recently spent a couple weeks there and it seemed like they were using the local Riels more and more.I believe they're phasing out the smaller USD...

Agreeing. What I was trying to say was the gold price from shop to shop hardly varies. Just like you indicated.I tend to only use shops I'm I'm familiar with and have done business with before.Someone buying should know the price before shopping around.Thats all.

Your information indicates that this would probably have been a poor decision. She was younger (immature) at the time and with no retail experience it most likely would have failed. She's working in retail nowadays and doing fine. Thanks for that so I now have no regrets. To the point she works at King Power and gets good sales bonuses and extra language pay. At the end of the day maybe not much less than a 7-11 franchise (depending) of course. Cheers
