  1. Yes.I like to have a good laugh at least once a day. Some of these statements make me laugh a ton! Ya he had a hear attack and died while we were negotiating so we panicked and thought we better chop him into pieces and freeze him until the medics arrived. A real knee slapper. OMG
  2. Very interesting.Years ago I put my step daughter through TCCU in Bkk for a degree in accounting. All done OK .I thought later it would almost cost the same to get her a 7-11 store for what the degree expenses cost me. Your information indicates that this would probably have been a poor decision. She was younger (immature) at the time and with no retail experience it most likely would have failed. She's working in retail nowadays and doing fine. Thanks for that so I now have no regrets. To the point she works at King Power and gets good sales bonuses and extra language pay. At the end of the day maybe not much less than a 7-11 franchise (depending) of course. Cheers
  3. Good point...but they'd have to freeze the body whole in 1 piece and disect it after happy hour. All they (never) got was 2 mil.Now they will will probably die in prison...makes you wonder if they think it was worth it. Maybe they had a history with the victim.
  4. Dam it must have been a gory scene...I couldn't even change a diaper...it takes a special kind of person to be able to do this sort of thing..goosebumps just thinking about it.
  5. I had a Makita belt sander and it was indestructable..good choice ..these guys knew their tools..
  6. Even if you think you know this person well...it's Thailand and they will screw each other in a heartbeat.Word is already out that there will be a "clampdown" on these shops. You are wise to decline.Keep your money in the bank...otherwise you will lose ...guaranteed.
  7. I take these plus Tumeric 2250 mg daily.I have the wrong magnesium tabs but will change up when these run out.I should have done a bit more research into which magnesium tabs to take. There are several varieties on the market. Any suggestions? Thanks...
  8. Yup 3 score and 10..Psalms 90
  9. What you state is an example that I go by.The DNR paper is very important and I've explained it to my family (Buddhist) so they understand fully.I've left them a fair inheritance and don't want to see it go to an ICU Unit. Mind you if I get a broken leg please disregard. 555
  10. Food for thought.I'm almost 73 also.I feel ok and have survived my share on medical issues. The only complaint I have is mobility. My old legs are arthritic and I can't walk/stand for long.No much I can do about that. I'll gladly take a sleeping pill when the grim reaper comes knocking.
  11. I used to keep 800k in an account but I bought gold with it to diversify..Maneerat Soi PO. 12,500
  12. Somchai and Noi are barley able to make their pick up payments. They ain't booking a pool villa in Phuket anytime soon.
  13. Good one bmt.My sentiments exactly.I left the frozen north asap upon turning 55.My stepfather died in a retirement home.It was posh but same as a prison.(heavens waiting room) I'll take my chances here with my Thai wife/family.I have more family here than there.
  14. That's the issue ...you'd have to live in Canada
  15. Interesting ...I wonder where they would acquire that stuff?
  16. Sorry bmt I'm not familiar with these two....
  17. Actually I've put a lot of thought into this.I'm a 72 yo cancer survivor.I had bypass surgery 12 years ago so I've had my fair share of illness.I had my wife sign the DNR papers for my DR. I don't want her inheritance blown away with me hooked up in ICU and the Dr breaks the news "sorry insurance finit" Thats my solution. In the perfect/dream world we would all just go to bed one night and not wake up.In reality I don't think it works that way very often.
  18. Red , you just made my day.I love your response to the mundane question..lol
  19. maybe the <deleted>?
  20. TBH..there's not much Somchai and Noi can really do.There's no point in vowing to never vote for him again. He wasn't voted in the 1st time. Hopefuly he'll just fade away and keep busy counting his ill gotten gains.
  21. His bank accounts are stuffed full by now. Even his ancestors won't be able to spend it all.TIT
