As you would expect. Putting a stamp in a passport isn't rocket science.

Cambodia is better than Thailand. Change my mind..?

I don't suppose the old guys care so long as they're having their rocks off on the cheap. -
In the new hardware place on Sukhumvit opposite Lotus, South Pattaya, returned card, but no money. Phoned bank and they said they'd return money inside a week. It was paid into my account after a couple of days. It was one of those rare SCB machines with a money tray which opens under the screen as opposed to a slot in the front.

Shame, because it's one heck of a long road to walk. I know, I've done it a few times.

How does he feel about Thais and other Asians buying land in the west? I bet he'd be the first to cry "Western Xenophobia" if it was stopped. Mind you, I can understand his fears in a way, I think the Chinese already own half the land in my area of Pattaya. Also, farang living here owning say half a rai would only use up a tiny portion of the total land area of this country.

Draft dodgers, I'll bet the farm. They'll be keeping their heads down, not wanting to be repatriated to the motherland. I don't think they'll have too many nice things to say about their own government at the moment.

So, I take it you're all in favour of Putin marching into a neutral, peaceful country and murdering its citizens without the rest of the world offering it help to defend itself. Maybe you yourself was a playground bully when you were a schoolboy and approve of this sort of thing. Personally, I think those who sit on the fence are worse than the bullies themselves.

I know there are many on here of a left thinking persuasion who'll disagree with me, but I don't care and certainly won't bother to argue the toss, but this news disgusts me. Abortion in my opinion, is the premeditated murder of a child. Humankind seems to be regressing.

I got nicked twice here (driving my car) for "staying too long in outside lane" whilst overtaking a line of slower cars in the inside lane. I thought it was ironical being that most locals use the outside lane at all times, even when the inside one is empty. I suppose they have to make up some reason to earn their 200 baht.

I've feeling that there's more to this story then what we've seen or heard and I haven't a clue who was at fault. One thing is certain though and that is if you're a foreigner here and you want to have your visa extended when the time comes, you must keep your nose clean. Whatever the provocation, unless your life is in danger, just walk away. Trying not to put locals in intensive care is a given.

Here in the Banglamung district, I forgot to pay on two separate occasions and was cut off after exactly one week both times. It's a house though, not a condo.

"The chief of defense forces ruled out the possibility of a coup and confirmed that the military stayed away from politics" ????????????????????

Pattaya police continue strict patrols on the beach
jesimps replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
You obviously think that everyone who comes to Pattaya either lives near or spends all their time sitting on the beach. Though even if they did, it'd be better than spending all their time in a jungle clearing in Nakon Nowhere. A walk along Pattaya promenade is incredibly entertaining and is lots of fun, like the rest of Pattaya. Even though I live in a lovely area outside of the city, I think it's wonderful to be able to visit every few weeks for a bit of excitement. Puts Bangkok into the shade. You ought to pay Pattaya a visit sometime. Like all the rabid critics, you've obviously never been. Always assuming your missus will give you a pass. -
There are people people on here who for some strange reason think that locals can do no wrong and should be given free rein to scam "rich" farang without any criticism at all.
