TM30 and Re Entry Permit
ubonjoe replied to Bruce1054's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That is not needed anymore of you enter with a re-entry permit or a multiple entry visa. It was changed in June of 2020. It is only required if you enter with a new visa. The 90 day report is due 90 days from the day you enter the country. -
I am sure it will be based upon the day your current extension ends when you apply for it. Immigration has not issued anything about the change yet so it is really hard to predict how they will do it. This from the TGIA site. "Renewal (before Sep,1 2022) The applicant must have the valid local health insurance policy with the minimum of coverage of 400,000 Baht for inpatient treatment and 40,000 Baht for outpatient treatment." You will also have the meet the entry requirements for Laos that are stricter for those not vaccinated than Thailand. See this page for the entry requirements by land here on the Thailand Pass site. https://land.tp.consular.go.th/en/plan -

Fully Vaccinated - how many shots?
ubonjoe replied to ravip's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That Thailand Pass FAQ's page only mentions 2 vaccinations to get the pass. See: https://consular.mfa.go.th/th/content/thailand-pass-faqs-2 -
Longstay application troubles
ubonjoe replied to RaduAlex's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Those requirements are for a Non-OA visa. A non-o visa does not require the medical exam, police clearance and etc. You can apply for a single entry non-o visa that allows one 90 day entry and then apply for a one year extension of stay at immigration here. You will need 800k baht in a Thai bank or proof of 65k baht income. You can also enter visa exempt and apply for a non-o visa at immigration. If you already have a bank account here that is probably your best option. -
If she is using the Mor Prom app she can do a screenshot of her vaccination record. Or print it out when if is displayed on the browser after scanning the QR code. I have mine printed out showing my 3 vaccinations. She could also a apply for a digital international certificate on the Mor Prom app. I have one of those also.

I see no reason for your extension of stay based upon retirement to be rejected if you meet the financial requirements. You will need 800k baht in a Thai banki for 2 months when your apply or proof of 65k baht of income. One way to avoid problems is to have your last date of work a few days after the day you go to immigration so that they will post date the cancelation. If everything is OK with your retirement extension they will do it on the day you go to immigration. If you were unable to do the new extension you could pay 1900 baht for a extension and be granted 7 days to leave the country.
