  1. It is a house book that can be issues to a foreigner that is about the same as a blue house book issued to Thais. Getting yellow house book also includes a ID number that can be used for many things and it proves your place of residence. There have been many topics about getting a yellow house book.
  2. It is a ID card issued after you apply for and get a yellow house book. They are issued at a Amphoe. The color of it is not really relevant.
  3. That has been discussed many times since the insurance requirement for OA visas started. It think for the Non-OA visa application at a embassy or official consulate started due to those in power thinking that those with one would not have the ties to Thailand since it does not require funds in a Thai bank and can easily leave and re-enter the country for a year. Those with non-o visa would have the funds in a Thai bank and have a long stay residence here.
  4. You insurance meets the requirements for your extension in June since you are applying before September 1st. Next year it will have to meet the new requirement of $100,000 or 3 million baht.
  5. When does current permit to stay end? Thai Elite only extended the validity of your visa not your permit to stay in the country. Have you applied for a one year extension at immigration? That may still be an option instead of leaving and re-entering the country.
  6. Reading you post it appears you used the first one before you got the 2nd one. It was marked used so they issued another one later.
  7. For those from most countries there is no 6 months passport validity requirement. A passport only has to be valid for your length of stay. But neighboring countries do have a 6 month requirement. Not sure where he is located. There is topic about doing a run to the Ban Laem crossing to Cambodia.
  8. Some border crossing to Malaysia are open. Not sure what is required to enter Malaysia though. You will need a Thailand Pass to return to Thailand.
  9. You will have to find a border crossing that is is open. As far as I know Myanmar is not open yet. Since you mentioned Mai Sai you might want to check if the crossing from Chiang Rai to Laos is open. Laos just opened up some more.
  10. Your link did not work but this one does. https://laotiantimes.com/2022/05/07/laos-drops-testing-for-vaccinated-tourists-announces-full-reopening/
  11. There is no overstay fine for a one day overstay it leaving from either airport in Bangkok. You can also apply for a 30 day extension of your visa exempt entry for a fee of 1900 baht. It only takes few days (48 hours is shown on the site) to receive the Thailand Pass after applying.
  12. It is easy to print the receipt if you have a printer. I resize it to make it smaller so it requires less folding to put it in on the last page of my passport.
  13. The TM6 site stopped working several month ago (not the date on my post). It think the online TM6 as been dumped. It has been taken down on the immigration website under online services https://www.immigration.go.th/en/#serviceonline.
  14. I cannot see reason for there being a problem registering again with a different email address. Apparently there is not other option to change your email address. There is nothing mentioned about changing it in the user manual for the site. See: https://tm47.immigration.go.th/manual/IndexForeign.html
  15. You could apply for a tourist visa that will allow a 60 day stay in the country that can be extended for 30 days. Then after you get married you could apply for a non-o visa at immigration and then a extension of stay based upon marriage That is probably you best option since you are under the age of 50.
  16. Is your visa or your current one year stay from your visa that is ending? You can use your visa to get another one year stay by leaving and re-entering the country before it expires.
  17. I am sure you will have to leave the country to either get a non-o visa at a embassy or consulate or enter visa exempt to apply for the non-o visa at immigration.
  18. When applying for a tourist visa on the e visa site you need provide a ticket to Thailand from the UK when you apply for it.
  19. You can apply for your extension up to 30 days early. The last day you can do it is the day your current extension expires.
  20. It seems they made a mistake. When did you old passport expire. The may of changed you extension date last year to the day it expired.
  21. Not really similar at all when using the new site. The first email sent will acknowledge your summited report with a PDF attached that is the TM47 form submitted. The next one will either be the approval or rejection of it. If approved it will the the receipt of notification attached.
  22. No Neither the top one or the bottom has a approved or a pending stamp. The only place approved is shown is on the email your receive or the site where it show it on the far right of the previous screen grab I posted.
  23. Here is part of what you see when you open the files.
  24. Those are from the old online reporting site. The new one shows this.
  25. They will not issue a 2nd re-entry permit. You cannot have 2 valid re-entry permits in your passport.
