    this is how these call centers operate, they are mostly based in India, they have insiders at companies like amazon/ebay/netflix etc, having someones details allows them to be quite convincing, backed up with bogus websites, it is shocking how vulnerable/stupid some people are

    there is a culture here for drink driving - go out and about town at the bars nightclubs etc and you will see everyone including foreigners are persistantly going out and drink driving - the police do it - everyone does it and it will never stop, TIT

    why would they stay, the police have become a real problem in Pattaya - shutting down bars for no good reason - demanding money to re-open - it is now a big issue and needs to be stopped - greedy ###.

    Spot on, I have spoken about this many times, holiday city with tourists running the gauntlet of the constant threat of police raids across the city clubs and bars alike, I remember pre-covid when you could get a drink anytime of the early hours without all this constant harrassment and corruption, covid is over - there is no such thing as "new normal" , lets get back to actual normal and put an end to this stupid corrupt nonsense

    these crimes should be measured by the value of the fraud, there are people in high places enriching themselves with billions - the untouchables who are protected by the rules they write themselves, I wonder how many there are in Thailand that are unusually rich and cannot account for their wealth
