Probably not.....as they would be expecting such an act. The ruling military aren't gonna give up their positions. Kinda accepted. -
Yet, aren't they all puppets in a round about manner?

Sure. Easier for Farang to speak of things they know nothing of. It's what they do. -

Some of the Thai-based craft beers are quite lovely, yet restricted to consuming on premise only.......and not a value because of their fashionable prices. Beer Lao is quite available commercially, as it appears to be the favourite among discerning locals [Farang/Thai] - yet not everyday affordable. -

The banking cabals. Either one excepts or one doesn't. -
Originally designed to mirror a British Parliamentary party [and indirect Patronage] representation system - it went askew just recently [this last decade or two] to resemble a highly oligarchical managed system that is set to favour the usual ruling classes - changed and revamped, here and there, to maintain this status quo. Whatever it has become, it's certainly not balanced or anything resembling democratic. Over many decades [from the 1950s/1960s], this rather unusual, and uniquely Thai, system has never been tested - as we jump from one coup and forced military rule to another.

We have real local suppliers as well as making our own.....all of whom don't adhere to the silly and Machiavellian restrictions. Largely ignored within these circles. Suckers. -

I do trust folks are keeping up with such things that could easily distract their dreamy continuum. The required approvals and permission hangs heavy. -
MFP’s popularity rising as election looms, new poll reveals

Unfortunately, the only realistic manner in which to conquer the forever ruling classes is the same manner as they use. It would be violent and messy.......the roots require severing and burning away. Tradition is almost always strenuous to dissolve, as it hangs over society as an emotional collective. -
Thai youth vote for reform despite political hurdles
zzaa09 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
One final generation [the current one] is all that they need, as there's really no one left to continue this heritage. The patronage system will dissolve sooner than some might be considering. Too many are still awaiting this proposed revolution and taking advantage of these special situations when they might present themselves.......hopefully. -
