Where did you register?
Where will you go for your first dose?
Are you paying for this?
Many press reports of 5 M doses of Moderna being ordered via GPO and the Thai Private Hospital Assoc, with 200 member hospitals participating. Fee said to be 3,500-ish.
Yes, I would like to know where you registered or how?
I have been told by 5 hospitals to wait.
Edit: You answered in the meantime. Thanks

If you watch the reenactment video, you will see all the police in uniform lined up outside the building.
That doesn't really correspond to the cctv images.

It would be a shame if they broke the terms of their contract and it was terminated for some reason.
Like denying vaccines to foreigners or something like that.
Something like that would be a real shame.
They are committed to procuring the vaccine from other sources if they can't deliver. The trouble with that is that all the other suppliers almost certainly have orders for their full production and Thailand will be last in the queue.

Second AZ dose 'after 16 weeks
So first dose in July and second dose in October?? Interesting? Pfizer, 2 doses 21 days apart. Moderna, 2 does 28 days apart. J&J, one dose. Anyway,TIT.
Meanwhile, the UK has shortened the time for the second dose from 12 weeks to 8 weeks to give better protection against the variants discovered in India and S. Africa that have now been discovered in Thailand
I hope we are not sitting on a ticking time-bomb.

but this is only one dose.
All these variants make us confused.
The original article is about the
South Africanvariant first discovered in South Africa. The link you give is about theIndianvariant first discovered in India.WHO wants us to stop using countries in naming the variants haha.
Actually, there are many other variants of the virus. How long will it be before the virus mutates in Thailand and we have the "Thai variant"?

They took payment - so your logic does not hold. ???? It was presented & payment was taken.
The whole family were admitted. The husband and wife requested to stay together at a private hospital. The husband later went into ICU and the wife recovered and then requested to stay at another private hospital nearer home together with her daughter,
I don't know if they were required to pay or not, but I am sure the bill has to be presented to then to sign anyway.

So does a Thai need covid insurance at all ?as sounds like gov pay... I know
Covid insurance cover death.si maybe still worth having insurance ? But the other bits inpatient and outpatient maybe a waste of money .... But I falang got same insurance Fromm rooji insurance . cost from 350b to 850b one payment. Covered for one year.i did get for Thai lady as well same prices...
This person requested to stay at another hospital. Maybe that is why his insurance paid up. I am not absolutely sure.
-
It is normal for the hospital to present the bill even though the government pays.
I know a Thai who is hospital now being treated for Covid and the bill at the moment is 1.5 million. I think the person's insurance pays some and the government the rest.

9 is also considered a lucky number as the pronunciation in mandarin sounds the same as longevity. Apparently it can also be used to symbolise the sovereignty of the emperor and the symbol is often found in Beijing imperial architecture.
I know a group of Chinese that use 666 or 999 on nearly all of their cars. (Yes they have many many cars)

This is insanity!
I don't think it is insanity.
Dogs can be trained amongst other things, to detect bladder cancer in urine and lung cancer in peoples breath.

Actually I have read reports from other countries that dogs can detect Covid-19 but there is some way to go before they can be used as sniffer dogs.

Probably no reason to differentiate between foreign and local alcohol either. Same as the nationality of the people, what difference does it make?
They probably did it in the belief that foreigners drank foreign beer and Thais drank Thai beer and whisky.
I agree though, absolutely no need to differentiate between the alcohol.

Total fools. All the scams and rip-offs regarding surgical gloves and for that matter PPE are purely reserved for Thais with connections, these fools should have known that.
Seems you have a point there.
For about 3 weeks the entrance to our house was continually being blocked by parked cars from 4 pm to 10 pm.
Anyway I complained (in a polite way) to one of the drivers and asked him to move so that we could enter the house. I met him several times after that and we talked a bit, so I asked him what on earth was going on. His answer "Rubber gloves".
These people were paying 10,000 Baht a day for 3 weeks to rent a house to sell gloves. There must have been a lot of money involved. It could even be the same people as in this story. No idea.

Thousands across the nation are now infected, tests are centered around hot-spots only, Thailand has no plan and no vaccines to stop it.
As you can see by the outbreak in the Thai prison. I am sure that has been kept hidden for some time. I cannot believe they found all the cases yesterday.

And non-Thais were not left out of the party. Spring News quoted the PM as saying that foreigners working in Thailand would not be forgotten "from migrants to embassy workers".
Would not be forgotten? They have said that all along, but the question is when?

Police had no warrant for raid on luxury house in Pattaya, lawyer claims

There are many other Chinese gangs like this and yes, the police know. Near us is a gang with a fleet of new Super cars: I tried to calculate 1 day how much the cars parked outside were worth and reached a figure of 160 million. - nearly all on red plates. The police even helped them to park by asking others that were parked to move their cars away. These people have more money and power that you can imagine.
