About 6 or 7 years ago I lost five or six close friends within a 12-month period, that was a very sobering experience. I lost my mom at the age of 70 and I determined from that moment forward that everyday was going to count for something. We just never know how much time we have left on this earth and I'm counting them in months rather than years. When someone asks me how much time do I think I have left I say well it'll be a good run if I have another 240 months. It does lend some perspective as to how short life really is. A great quite from the TV shows a Billions: 30s is too soon. Dying in your 30's is tragic. As is the 40s Sympathy dissapates from there 50s is such a shame 60s is too soon 70s a good run 80s a life well lived 90s - a fricking hell of a ride

Well in reality an orgasm is very overrated, and as we get older finishing takes a lot more out of us than it used to. So perhaps your body is just telling you something good, perhaps it's telling you that you don't need to finish, you can just enjoy (in a more tantric fashion) and that's good enough.

Koh Pha Ngan terror threat claims are really nothing, say police
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
What do the Israeli intelligence officials really know? How much experience do they have when it comes to dealing with terror? We are the preeminent experts, and we have established nothing but credibility for decades now. Everything we say is true and you should never doubt what we tell you. We know everything, there is nothing that we don't know, and when we say don't cancel your trip (don't deny us the income) please listen to us. -
Israel is in a very difficult position, they've started a terrible war and even Netanyahu does not appear to have an end game, other than the total obliteration of all Palestinian people, it would appear. The US backing Israel unconditionally is a very dangerous game, and will no doubt have huge consequences and a great deal of blowback for America, and likely for Trump too. Putting a Christian in place, who does not appear to have any true faith is a very risky endeavor.

While the economy may not be terrible it certainly is not good, regardless of what the studies show. There are a half dozen reasons why the stock market is pumped up as artificially high as it is, and the lack of consumer confidence tells the real story. I have a business in America as do many of my friends and we see the real truth. Will Trump's policies do anything to improve the economy? We'll see, time will tell, personally I think his tariff policies are nothing but a massive tax hike on the American people and will lead not only to potential economic devastation, but much higher inflation.

I realize this post is meant in jest, however this is a very serious topic. I cannot even imagine the anguish that somebody must feel to compel them to do something this extreme. There is something very joyful about waking up in the morning, looking in the mirror and being content with my sexuality and who I am. For that I give thanks.

Shocking cruelty: Child abuse claims haunt Chiang Mai orphanage
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Chiang Mai News
Nothing short of the death penalty, or life imprisonment will suffice. Society just does not need vermin like these roaming the streets. Child abuse is about as low as it gets. Those orphaned kids deserved better. Set an example. Find some judges with some spine. -
For someone as distrustful of the media is as you are, I would think that a second-hand account would mean something to you. After I heard it directly from the victims mouth. I understand why many people support this man what I don't understand is why they so utterly refuse to acknowledge who he truly is. Why make a swamp creature into a saint?

Why experts are blasting Trump for 'already breaking the law'
spidermike007 replied to simple1's topic in Political Soapbox
He has been breaking the law since the late 70s, he is a career criminal, and he's very comfortable breaking the law, so I'm not sure why anybody would think that he wouldn't continue breaking the law. Especially after what he considers to be a mandate by the people. -
Thais in Los Angeles Protest Against PM Paetongtarn’s Visit
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That is a very strange reply. What on earth makes you think she's doing anything to make life better for the Thai people? Please cite a few examples. After all she was not elected, she was appointed, she has absolutely no skill, and absolutely no experience, so I think the protests are wonderful. I think any time the Thai people can show their resistance to a unelected regime it's a good thing. Most Thais here don't feel they can get away with protesting. They can elsewhere. Kudos to them!- 41 replies

Bangkok Adapts 'London Model' for Traffic Congestion Fees
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
An absolutely brilliant idea, anything that can be done to reduce traffic in the central areas of Bangkok would be smart and visionary. I would propose making the feet quite high to really serve as a deterrent. I would go a step further and say that all truck deliveries must be made between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. -
I don't think there are very many boxing experts that consider Paul to be a serious fighter, yes he is young, and yes he is strong, but is he clever? Is he talented? He is certainly very talented at manipulating social media and becoming quite wealthy through its use. Does that translate to boxing? I think that many of us are hoping that he gets a very very serious whooping. He certainly comes across as being a very arrogant fool.

Republicans win control of the US House of Representatives
spidermike007 replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
Always a very dangerous thing and the potential for absolutely reckless policy when there is no balance of power. I'm not saying the Democrats didn't ask for it but it is a potential recipe for disaster. -
I have despised him and had a deep disrespect for him since 1984, when I worked in commercial real estate in New York City and dealt with a number of men who had direct dealings with him. There is nothing like a first-hand account to give you some real background on exactly who somebody is. He is a total creep. The fact that he won again, the fact that he pulled an amazing sales job does not change who he is. It never will.
-
Affinity? I accept him as the president and I do not dispute the results of the election, but affinity? Are you intimating the same thing as affection or respect? No absolutely not, that has to be earned and never freely given, and even though he's the president, he's still a creep, he's still a thug, and he's still a criminal, and he is morally bankrupt. The truth is the truth, regardless of how fancy the clothes are that you dress the truth up in.

Let us see what Mr. Chaos is actually able to implement.

It is the well-known concept of selling your soul to the devil for power, people have been doing it since the beginning of time and Vance is no exception. There's no question about the fact that the man is completely sold out on so many different levels.

British Man Tells Story of Life in Bangkok Prison in New Book
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Had he been a wealthy Thai with connections he never would have served one day in prison. Prison is not some place you want to end up in Thailand, though I think prison is a terrible place to end up nearly anywhere in the world, (except perhaps Norway). You just don't want to end up there here in Thailand. I knew a guy who was locked up for dealing ganja in Koh Samui and I visited him in prison a few times there and he said that there were about 60 guys that slept in one room and if you laid down on the floor on this paper thin mat at night, to go to sleep you would have to cross your arms across your chest in order to not be on top of the guy laying next to you. No fans, of course no AC, and terrible food. If you had money then you could get decent food. Yikes. A true nightmare. -

That was some very powerful Kool-aid you have been consuming. Unless that was meant as satire.

A C student at best. 306lbs. minimum. Likely very poor health. Severe cognitive decline, evident by his speech. An actual quote: Trump: I say, “What would happen if the boat sank from its weight and you’re in the boat and you have this tremendously powerful battery and the battery’s now underwater and there’s a shark that’s approximately 10 yards over there?" By the way, a lot of shark attacks lately. Do you notice that? A lot of shark — I watched some guys justifying it today. “Well, they weren’t really that angry. They bit off the young lady’s leg because of the fact that they were not hungry but they misunderstood who she was.” These people are crazy — He said, “There’s no problem with sharks. They just didn’t really understand a young woman swimming now who really got decimated and other people, too.” A lot of shark attacks. So I said, “So there’s a shark 10 yards away from the boat, 10 yards. Or here. Do I get electrocuted if the boat is sinking and water goes over the battery? The boat is sinking. Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted, or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?” Because I will tell you, he didn’t know the answer. He said, “You know, nobody’s ever asked me that question.”

We had to expect that there would be many that would gloat, for quite some time. Some of us have been fair losers and have admitted how poor the candidate was, and how poor the effort was. Yet many on the other side will continue to gloat and will continue to hate.

I think it's important to acknowledge that the majority of people thought that Trump was a better choice, and I certainly saw that. However, that does not mean that he was a good choice, he was a very, very low quality candidate, and he is a very low quality man. And I think he will make a very low quality president, like last time, but worse. He is ALOT older now.
