  1. An excellent outcome for society. Discounting the lack of ambition, that comes with smoking too often.
  2. I agree the new breeds are very strong. But only very weak minds experience damage from it.
  3. War is a very degrading act, and I think it's safe to say that these kind of offenses have taken place throughout the course of history, and still take place on a regular basis. Though I am sure many soldiers behave in a noble and righteous fashion, there are likely many who have no moral compass whatsoever, and simply do as they please. What about the IDF? Any crimes committed on their side, besides genocide?
  4. I really never understood the concept of economic growth, and why it's so important. So what if an economy shrinks? So what if you don't have economic growth? And this is partly due to incredibly smart and incredibly sensible people deciding not to have children at this stage in the planets evolution. Or having only one child. I completely agree with them, I've made that the same great decision myself. It's all good. It's great that society is at a point where we can make that choice If you have a lower population you don't need as much economic growth, it takes the strain off of so many elements of society and on so many levels shrinking population is a great thing for the planet. So I say may the shrinking continue and may the contraction continue. Sure some jobs will be lost but the overall benefits will be huge.
  5. TDS. Trump deceives his supporters. You are right. I don't live there. Thankfully. But, I still prefer decency over pure evil. Ha!
  6. He has participated in two incredibly corrupt and foul administrations in a row, and has helped to move the nation backwards by a decade or more. He deserves great honor.
  7. Pot should be legal worldwide. It harms nobody, unless you count poor memory and lack of ambition as great offenses against the nation. Illegal by who's definition? A corrupt, illegal government that is completely out of step with a changing world? Pot does little harm to anyone. The biggest risk is the the user will lose his ambition. Compared to alcohol the detriment to society is minuscule. The only reason why ganga legalization will be reversed in Thailand is likely due to the fact that legalization would makes the police franchises less valuable. That is it. It ends there. This has nothing whatsoever to do with morality or character development. Quite the contrary. And to lump a pot smoker into the same category as a heroin addict is just plain old ridiculous and ignorant of the facts. I would agree that it lowers the level of a person's ambition, if used alot. And it does slow down the minds of some. To say it makes a person stupid, makes me question your own level of intelligence, not to mention how judgmental and narrow minded, it makes you seem. I know plenty of brilliant people who smoke, and it has not slowed them down. To the contrary, alot of highly intelligent people use herb to slow down their brains, create some perspective, alter their perception and boost their creativity. Speaking from experience, there is little about ganga that is harmful, as long as it does not become a daily habit. I used to smoke occasionally. It was delightful, and did not make me stupid. It did make me funnier, and enhanced my life on several levels. Dancing, sex, skiing, music, movies, and many other activities seemed more enjoyable. I consider alcohol to be infinitely more toxic to the body and mind. Not to mention society. Yet, it is legal. Like many things, moderate use can be enjoyable and relaxing for many. And from a medicinal point of view, it is astonishing. My mother smoked. She had severe degenerative osteoarthritis of the spine. She was in alot of chronic pain. It helped her alot. And my guess is it was far better for her health and mind, than pain killers.
  8. I didn't say it was impossible if you are willing to pay a "foreigner fine". A percentage of them will simply quote a far higher price.
  9. Nobody could ever convince me that a former head of immigration and recent deputy head of the RTP is and was straight. It is a near impossibility. He simply had a great PR machine, and like Trump he was a genius at creating a fiction, and misleading the people. Big Joke. The great imposter.
  10. Thailand is learning the hard way, that quantity over quality is never a good thing. And they are also seeing that complete and total refusal to look within, take responsibility, and address the problems that plagued the nation prior to covid, means lower end tourism. Affluent and rich tourists are far less tolerant of nonsense. They don't have to be. Too many other options.
  11. Taiwan is not part of China. The South China Sea is not part of China. We are just starting to see the beligerence and aggression of the extremely toxic and foul CCP. It will continue for a long, long time. They are up to no good.
  12. There should be a hundred freelance bars like it. The question is not what is the draw. The question is why there are so few. It is so cool. The fascinating thing about the place, is that the top 25% of the gals there on a busy night, will not even talk to a Westerner. I have inquired about that. They much prefer Japanese and Korean men. 1. We take too long and chew up too much of their time. 2. We are larger. Too much wear and tear. 3. We generally are not willing to pay as much. Three strikes and you are out!
  13. Quite ironic, considering that her morally bankrupt party is the one who stole the election from the people, and denied duly elected Pita the right to govern, and installed the spectacularly incompetent stooge PM, while jumping into bed with the army, which was the last thing in the world the people of Thailand wanted, after 9 disastrous years under ChaCha.
  14. Though it is not a polite thing to say, hundreds of millions around the world would NOT mourn his death.
  15. This stooge deserves jail time. Lock him up. He was not elected, nor is he wanted by the people. He represents the foul army. No doubt he is corrupt.
  16. Total dogma. He was a head of state. They would have done the same for Putin, Kim, Xi, MBS, and many other serial killers.
  17. Kind of amusing that a trial of the most dishonest man in history could be derailed by a man who stole a relatively small amount of money and lied about it. Something ironic about that. Dishonest men using any reason to have their man avoid facing reality and punishment.
  18. Sounds like a study paid for by Big Pharma. They will do anything to avoid that ten billion dollar a year cash cow from dying. Is there any hysteria about road deaths and the highway patrol's absolute refusal to patrol the highways to insure safety? Was there any hysteria about the recent burning season, which was the worst in memory? No. Why? For one, they did not have huge Big Pharma companies with an agenda. I would not put another baht into their pockets, unless this was more comparable to smallpox, rather than the common flu.

  21. This was a ruthless serial killer, who just died. He helped oversee the mass execution of thousands in the 1980s and later presided over a brutal crackdown on anti-government protests at home. Abroad, the cleric-turned-politician struck a tough stance in nuclear talks with the West and launched an unprecedented assault on Israel. The son of a cleric, he became the deputy prosecutor of the capital Tehran in 1981, when he was just 25 years old. There, he earned the fearsome nickname, the Butcher of Tehran. Raisi was one of four judges who sat on a prosecution committee in the 1980s that is believed to have ordered the executions of thousands of political prisoners. The prisoners — some reportedly as young as 13 years old — were alleged to be part of the armed opposition group the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organisation, which attempted to topple the Iranian government in 1986. Two years later, Iranian authorities issued a "fatwa" against members of the group, saying "they are waging war on God and are condemned to execution". No-one knows how many people died during the five grim months that followed, but estimates range from 2,500 executions to up to 30,000 deaths. Witnesses say prisoners were detained in secret, and those who refused to change their political affiliation were tortured and hanged from cranes before being buried in mass graves. Where do I send the flowers to?
  22. I have more fear of catching a flu, than catching this weak variant of covid. I for one, will never mask up again, unless something truly lethal like the bubonic plague or ebola comes along. Same applies to vaccines. No thanks. No more. I let this thing go a long time ago. Many cannot and will not let it go.
  23. That is a huge distinction. Thanks for that. Perhaps they should be jailed, or even worse.
  24. This is good news. In my mind, there is no doubt the Swedish charges were fake, and rigged by the US govt. I have mixed feelings about the leaking of that info. I don't like many lives being put at risk, if indeed that happened. But, it is likely the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan were absolutely filthy, and perhaps there was a need for a leak like this.
  25. On the plains of hesitation bleach the bones of countless millions, who at the dawn of victory sat down to rest, and resting died. I know there were alot of dumb factors that went into the decision to warehouse such a massive supply of rice. But, rarely is something that old as good as a fresh product.
