  1. Perhaps he should have politely said you are wrong, and you need to admit it! You may be my teacher for now, but you are not my master.
  2. A very flawed article especially since Trump negotiated the withdrawal from Afghanistan, in an extremely cowardly and hurried manner, after assuring the Afghan translators that they would be taking care. They were abandoned like pieces of wet cloth, that is what Trump thinks about the Armed Forces. That's how little respect he has for the men and women who fight overseas and those who aid them. The man is dangerously unprepared for a war and he garners no respect from the Armed Forces, nor the top generals.
  3. I feel so bad, I think I need to repent for my multitude of sins. Oh wow look there's a ministry, what a great opportunity. Let me forgo my immediate pleasures and sins, and repent right now. Such guilt. I cannot deal with the guilt I get from all the pleasure! I will burn. Better change my ways.
  4. I used to take that junk and even with small doses I would get massive headaches. These days I only use herbal formulas like Gracku, which is amazing. It works just as well without any side effects, nor liver damage.
  5. Well that is really great news, the people must be listening to the sage advice of the government officials, who are requesting that they burn less incense.
  6. For that most certainly applies to the wealthy, does it apply to the common man too? You think the average person really has that attitude? I see some people cowering when they're around the police here.
  7. I think what you are suggesting is a way to honor the tourists who decide to come to Thailand and spend a lot of money. It's a great idea, but it requires some imagination and initiative.
  8. Roughly the same. A stolen election, with the army as part of the government. A coup. Not much difference.
  9. Deflection is the best tool devotees of the fake master are able to use. He is indefensive, from a standpoint of morality, righteousness, truth, decency, or reality. So, they deflect. It has become a knee jerk instinct.
  10. Even thought the results of the election were ignored, and stolen from the people? Even though we have a proxy, do nothing PM? Even though we still have 250 super toxic, super corrupt, army appointed lapdog senators? Even though the youth are still be imprisoned for a simple protest asking for change and reform? Really? Honestly? Earnestly?
  11. Very tragic. What kind of coward mows down a cop, trying to evade a police stop, then attempts to flee the scene? Who are these people? Who are their parents, and why did they fail so miserably at raising their child? Let us hope this fool is locked up for decades. Perhaps massive fines, and forfeiture of family homes and land would serve as a deterrent for this kind of moral bankruptcy? Tragic for the wife and kids, perhaps. But hey, you married the wrong guy, and your Dad is a lowlife.
  12. 24 all night on the lowest mode. The new Panasonic inverter is whisper quiet and keeps us comfy all night. I use a very light comforter. My woman uses an Arctic comforter. Life is too short to not be comfortable when sleeping. And there are maybe 20 nights a year these days, when the AC is not needed.
  13. When they are locking up courageous young folks for decades, for speaking out about important reform, stealing elections from highly popular figures like Pita, and installing highly toxic and corrupt army appointed proxy senators, they cannot even pretend this is a democracy. It is a "soft power" army autocracy. With no moral authority, whatsoever.
  14. Thailand is going go have to figure out a way to get beyond this purile and ridiculous practice of "face", if it wants to progress as a nation and move forward. It holds them back on countless levels.
  15. I didn't say anything about doing that. Again, you are making stuff up. Following your dreams of adventure is the right thing to do.
  16. If it got any worse, it would be like New Delhi. The authorities should be ashamed and embarrassed. But, since they don't have any competence or pride, they are not.
  17. Adding more staff to prevent breakdowns in the system is just basic common sense. Last time I arrived the que was enormous. Who wants to get off a long flight, walk 20 minutes to immigration, and then wait on a 45 minute line? People remember stuff like that. What is needed at immigration is more intelligence.
  18. Many of the tactics employed by Trump and his cronies are based on lies and fabrications. But, since they are not guided by any sort of morality or regard for truth, it does not matter to them. Nor, to many of his devotees. They throw junk against the wall, and hope it will stick. Hopefully we will be done with the numskull in November. Another loss and he will be toast. See ya Don Don.
  19. I've been there a couple of times over the years and it's quite nice, it's good food, it's a lot of food and it's worth it. Nice ambiance, nice view, definitely worth the money. Bear in mind they attack on an extra 17% more than likely.
  20. You always have the option of getting on your bike and going without the Mrs. After all, who makes the decisions in your family? You want some adventure take some adventure. Maybe just maybe, you're the one who's lost the spirit.
  21. Such unbelievable nonsense, this man would say anything to avoid taking responsibility and putting pressure on his Masters, who own many of the Big Agra companies. They are doing absolutely nothing, there will be no follow-up, there will be very few fines, and there will be no pressure put on the refiners. Expect a continued backwards movement as long as these clowns are in charge. Sretta, Anutin, PT and the army are the do nothing men.
  22. Well certainly China exerts some control here, but I think to say that Thailand is under Beijing's and the heinous CCP's control is quite an exaggeration. If we were life would be very different here, it would be a pale shadow of what it is now. Yes the army here is horrible, and yes they are oppressive when it comes to criticism, but that is about the extent of the oppression that we feel on a daily basis. This is NOT China, thankfully. I would not live there for any less than 10 million dollars a year. So yes, I am for sale. LOL.
  23. The last time I was in Los Angeles with my Thai woman we went to the highest rated Thai restaurant in Thai Town in LA, and though we spent $100 for lunch we were both quite disappointed. I think it's fairly difficult to find good Thai food in the US, it's easy to find mediocre Thai food or edible Thai food but very difficult to find good Thai food. We only eat Thai food in the US when she is cooking otherwise we take advantage of the huge variety of other types of ethnic foods that are available. In Thailand great Thai food is virtually everywhere. Fortunately we live here in Thailand, and I'm thankful for that fact on a daily basis.
  24. I tend to agree Biden is not capable, but I earnestly think Trump is not capable either. I believe that he's semi senile, incoherent most of the time, and he's lost a lot of his faculties, in addition to being completely insane. Not to mention in legal peril and possibly broke.
  25. Execution would be ideal and it would be great if they could make it happen quickly, 30 days or so, perhaps even without a trial. In leiu of that a 20 or 30 year sentence where he will be treated very kindly by his fellow inmates, due to the nature of his crime. And forfeiture of all of his assets to the families of the victims.
