I carry a color copy, with the visa printed on the reverse side in my wallet. In well over a decade never once has any law enforcement or other official told me I needed to carry my original passport, which stays locked in the safe. Carrying around your passport with your visa is extreme. The hassle required to replace them both would not be worth it. Defy stupidity.

Avoid FedEx like the plague. They used to be the best in the business. Now, it appears they are skimping on customs brokers. Have had two different packages stuck in US customs for a month each, in the past year. Go with DHL, UPS, or Thai post express mail. Not FedEx. They have gone way, way downhill. And it is of their own accord. It is all about profit over service.
