People are mostly stupid aren't they? It's cheaper in the long run to fund Ukraine as long as it takes to stop Russia than it would be to fight WW III. Same with NATO. Cheaper to let countries not paying their 2% continue to be members than to fight the inevitable war that would result if NATO collapsed.

Too lazy to read the whole thread so sorry if it's been mentioned. Big C extra on klang has some wonderful breads. Try the low GI loaf, especially good when you get them to cut it into thick slices. Also the tops in the basement of Central has a good multi-grain loaf if you get there just before lunch.

All my laptops have a HDMI plug so I can easily connect an external monitor if the screen craps out. None are Apple products though.

Phone banking apps are significantly more secure than banking through a browser. Expect this from all banks in the near future.

Very common for people who come to Thailand when young. Pensions generally require many years of being a good citizen and paying taxes, etc. Both the US and Canada need 10 years fully qualify.

Yeah. These people that dictate their posts tend to get out of hand. There should be a rule that you have to type it in. But it beats being face to face where you can't shut them up. At least you can jump to the next post.

My Samsung Android phone has the state of the art USB-c port. Pretty much been the standard for years for everything other than Apple. I guess Apple figured they've already fleeced their users by making them buy the proprietary lightning cables.

I had one of these for a bit years ago. The credit limit on the card is limited by the amount in the account. If I recall correctly, for a 50k limit I needed 100k in the account.

Nope. Never wanted children. Never had children, at least none I had to pay for. There's more to life than children. As I always say, the rich get richer, the poor get children.
