Ask Hamas. They also cut their heads off.

Netanyahu rules out ceasefire with Hamas, saying ‘this is a time for war’
The guy that decides enough is enough. Hamas break the existing ceasefire every day. Over a thousand rockets falling on civilians. Then the animals decide to 'invade' Israel and kill babies, children and women. Perhaps throw your 'criminal' insults at those animals. Hamas are the legal group in charge of Gaza. Voted in by the people of Gaza. What is the point of yet another meaningless ceasefire when Hamas ignore it daily?

What type of Doctor/surgeon/specialist
My middle finger was bitten off by my dog at the first joint. It was a long time ago. I was flown to Bangkok and it was re-attached at Bangkok Hospital, Bangkok by a doctor who specialised in re-attaching penis's. Nice Japanese microsurgeon. Mine was his first finger re-attachment. He filmed the op and follow up. I would lend my dog to you to bite your finger off but he died some 20 years ago.

Requirements for opening savings account at SCB?
You were lucky. I have an account with SCB and I wanted to open a new fixed deposit account. I showed my passport, driving licence, work permit and house book. "Must have proof of address form from immigration" I explained that immigration here on Samui do not do this any more. I showed them that my address was on the driving licence, work permit and house book. "Must have proof of address form from immigration". Goodbye SCB. I then transferred most of my money to Krungsri.

Hearing Put Off In Koh Phangan Murder Case
On the Thaiger main page at the moment, there are 8 stories of Thais behaving badly and 2 stories of foreigners behaving badly. And the Thaiger is aimed at foreigners/English speakers.

Were you ever (or never) swoon worthy beautiful at any point in your life? (All genders)
Same as nikmar Ugly as sin from day 1 and stayed that way for 72 years and counting. I was so ugly as a baby that my mother later told me 'I had to love you as no one else would'. Luckily I have other assets that women seem to find attractive. Never short of a girlfriend or three. (A bit awkward at times.) On the other hand, my wife was gorgeous from the day that I met her when she was 21. I stole her from another bloke and travelled the world with her. She was gorgeous until the day that she died (55). I still love her today.😍

Hearing Put Off In Koh Phangan Murder Case
For goodness sake. That is a very 'myopic' view on things. Not many Thais read AseanNow. It is aimed at foreigners. ie people like you and me. Try reading the Thai press (and even a fair number of threads on AseanNow). I think that you will find more than one or two articles about Thais behaving badly. Usually killing each other.

Alcohol ban at midnight on Saturday?
Perhaps it is those noisy bars, with scantily dressed ladies and drunks that the devout Buddhists find upsetting on one of their more devout days?

Debt collector’s haunting discovery: Bank employee stumbles upon dead body in Chon Buri

What do I need to replace a damaged DL?
That last question is the million dollar one. Here on Samui, the TM 30 is accepted by most as proof of address - except the banks. Banks still demand the old form that the immigration office refuse to produce. I had to have a replacement licence some years back when I lost my wallet. All I needed was copy of the licence and my passport. The passport number was different (new passport) and they just changed it. Simple. As always in Thailand, different government offices might have different procedures.

The Whiskies of the World Awards is a worldwide whisky competition
I tend to only drink single malt whisky - very occasionally. Usually Glenmorangie in its various forms. The subtleties of most others costing 4,000+ baht are totally wasted on my 'Thai spices' palette. I once bought a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label whist on a visa run to Burma. Looked like the real thing except the price of 160 baht gave it away. Not a bad taste for a rice whiskey. Good enough for the boys in my local pub to sell it as the real thing. (They did tell the customers before they drank it though.) Some Japanese whiskies are good and I want to try some of the newer Australian ones. I have never seen them in the shops here on Samui and lots of places do have a wide range of foreign brands. Each to their own of course.
