This is good. The only way to overthrow a corrupt government, is like the Philippines did, when they got rid of Marcos. It take action by the people. Marcos ran the the Philippines like it was his own personal property. The action of Thaksin are very close to Ferdinand, an elected dictator.

I feel Thaksin should come back to Thailand and defend himself against all these lies. in a court of law. Though he would have to be put into pretrial confinement, because he ha a record of jumping bail. With all the charges, each trial would take 5 years, so the trial will go on for 100 years.

Don't these protesters have jobs?
Funny I was thinking the same...
anything not to work!...
and when all of this is all over..no matter who prevails....these people will go back to their ho hum lives and realize that nothing, absolutely nothing has or will change in their own little worlds
They could be the farmers that turned their rice into the government mills three or four months ago and still have not been paid.

They did nothing wrong, all they were doing , was following the instructions of Big Brother. Thailand has the best government that money can buy,

What about the judges hit the PTP with contempt of court?

Now that I think about it, the figures could be correct, but they counted Myanmar, Laotian, Cambodian, and Bangladeshi laborers as tourist. There are also all the people going into register every 90 days, could also be counted as tourist. Than you have the number.

Who is this guy? Jonathan Head under a pseudonym? I do wish these foreign journalists would spend more time inside the country of which they are writing <deleted> about.
I would call Jonathan Head a <deleted>, but than I would be insulting <deleted>.

They are all meeting together, so they can listen to the masters voice. They will receive instructions and do accordingly.

So these planes will be parked at Dong Muang and allowed to deteriorate. There will be no maintenance on them, the turbines will not be rotated and it will not make any difference, what is on the books. They will be only be able to be used for scrap metal.

Could it be, that this was another way of taking a large sum of, undeclared, money out of Thailand, and depositing in a bank account in Singapore? Or putting the money on another executive air craft to be sent to destinations unknown?

It appears that some of the people making input to the media, do not see the problem. The process problem lies in the lask of concern of the tour operators, the tourist industry and the government. some people and politicians look at tourist as being the fated lam to be lead to slaughter. There is no concern for the tourist, only the money, there is little respect for others, the only thought is how much can we get.
I am an American Thai, I have passed all the government test. It is interesting to go into the tourist area and listen to what people say. The first question is where are you from. Which hotel do you stay, with this information they can determine your ability to spend, and can calculate how much they can get.
This is the same in every where, whether it is New York, or Sydney. Take the tourist for all you can get. Until there is an actual crackdown on corruption in the tourist trade nothing will happen. It has been going on for 47 years that I know. That is when I first came. It will take a joint effort of all the Embassies to get a change. The American Embassy could start by putting Phuket and Pattaya as off limits to all military. Have them go to the Philippines for R&R, not Thailand.

There is going to be a party. There are going to be heartbreaks, some one is going to get hurt. The Eagles sing it better.
Blook will flow. I hope the police do a better job of controlling the beast. They did not do a very good job in 2010.

Nattawut: New round of fight begins
BANGKOK: -- Following the ruling against senatorial charter amendment bill, red-shirt leader Nattawut Saikaur declared that a new round of fight has begun.
Speaking at the red-shirt rally at the Rajamangala Stadium, Nattawut declared: "The bell of a new round of fight between the democratic force and extra-constitutional force have begun!"
-- The Nation 2013-11-20
The boys are back in town and they want to party. There will be heartaches tonight. Some one will get hurt. The Eagles song.

From the angle of the picture taken, the guy looks asian not european. Anyway, I hope they treat his leaking boil. Maybe he was on some kind of meds that made him happy to be singing. I hope he gets home safe and leak-free.
There are many Asians in France. Look at how many countries these Imperialistic Colonials occupied.

It appears that this project is not an interest of other investors. China has already built a port and Japan is working with the Myanmar government to upgrade the port in Yangon. It is aparent that the Dawei facilities is important to Thai politicians.

This can not be correct! The best golf destination in Thailand is the Alpine Golf Club. This the exclusive Club used by the Government.

Times getting harder, it is not like some 25 years ago where you can sit at the beach and take a nap!
Pathaya was very nice 45 years ago The 46 Team House was on the beach. Large trees and the tallest building was three stories. Nippa Hut has very nice cafe made from a a RR passenger car. Than there was Doff's Reef.

This is November, but it could turn out be as bad as Bloody October 1976, when citizens and students rose up against the government. We still do not know how many student from Thamasat University were murdered, or what happened to the bodies. When a government will do anything to remain in control, innocent people die. The PT party storm troopers are will defend the Dynasty. In Germany they wore brown shirts, they do here also, and have shirt of red also.

If Thailand is ever going to move forward politically, it is time for old school types like Chalerm, Silpa Archa, Sondhi, entire Shinawatra clan, Abhisit AND first of all Suthep to leave the scene completely.
My solution; grant a blanket amnesty to all, with the specific condition that all who benefit from it can't ever be in politics again. Just take all your ill-gotten gains and leave!
Since when is Abhisit an "old school type"?
His neck tie.

The scams that are going on now have been going on for over 50 years. The only difference now is that they have gone high tech. Like than most of these scams are operated by organized crime families, which make donations to the local police. How much money does each entertainment establishment pay a month, and how many high end night clubs have politicians and police on the management board? There is not difference difference New York and Chicago are the same. We can not count California because there corruption make Thailand looks like children playing.
-
I think the Thai Police have done a very good job of show of force to protect the Shin Dynasty. We and the international media have been told by Pol. Capt Chalerm, that it was the police that were the Black Shirts in 2010. The police must have been some where, because they did little or nothing to support Thailand. to stop the burning of Bangkok.

Tobacco Factory land could be turned into a park as was the plan.
Yes it was planned, but the new mew members of the Board of Directors did not get any money. Thailand is one of the largest supporters of lung cancer elimination, but the government is the largest manufacturer of tobacco products in Thailand. Is it two faced or two tonged, line the river monitor lizard.

Thailand's state unions to retaliate if force is used against demonstrators
in Thailand News
Posted
Sounding more and more like the take down of Marcos in the Philippines, people with the unions revolting against a corrupt dictatorial government.
