  1. After 10 drinks a barfine would be pointless for me. A stretcher back to my lodgings would be better.
  2. Yes , in the old days things were a bit less santized for your protection. On my second visit to Thailand I was propositioned right in the departure terminal at Don Muang. The lady in question had actually hired a room within the terminal !. In those days , anybody taking a taxi into the city from the airport would almost always get offers from the driver offering to take you to some place or other with beautiful women. Back on topic , I don't think I have ever been to an especially boring city in Thailand. It all depends on what you are looking for and how easy you are to please. Again , some 35 or more years ago I was stuck overnight in Ranong ( can't remember why ) . Not much to do there but I went out for an evening bowl of noodles and a beer anyway. While eating , I was approached by a fairly elderly Thai guy who asked if he could sit at my table and have a chat as he not had the chance to speak English for a long time. I warily said ok expecting a scam at worst or a boring question and answer session at best. How wrong I was. Turned out he was a retired army officer ( captain or major level ) who had served with the Thai army in Vietnam during the war. In his duties he frequently worked alongside his American counterparts and had pretty much perfected his English. A very interesting man indeed with lots of tales to tell. Long story short , an hour quickly past chatting when he had to leave and make his way home to his wife. A very entertaining evening all for the price of a bowl of noodles ( he paid for the beers before leaving ) I sometimes think to myself , how on earth did we pass the time without the internet or mobile phones. Then I remember , it was pretty good anyway.
  3. Never saw her close up. But from a distance as I entered the hotel earlier she looked too young .
  4. So Mr Putin , what do you want us to do next ? You say jump and we answer how high ?
  5. A lot of people would like to give him little lead gifts.
  6. Israels general concept of this peace plan is you cease , we fire.
  7. For his own sake Donald better be able to duck because there will be a lot of brown stuff coming his way , and rightly so.
  8. Not if you knew where to go. I had great times there. Loads of women, scored some smoke , great nightclub with good sounds and an interesting market. Had my first threesome there. About 40 years ago I was in Pimai checking out the ruins. Back then it was absolutely dead after 8.00 and even a decent bowl of noodles was hard to find in the daytime. At night a noodle seller set up her stall outside my Chinese style hotel which was clean but very basic. At 9.00 pm the noodle seller knocked on my door offering her assistant for the night. I politely declined but pretty unexpected in such a dead town.
  9. Should read : Trumps Comprehensive Ukrainian Surrender Plan Many Russians feel that the sale of Alaska to the USA was illegal and they would like to buy it back. Zelensky should mention this to Trump and get him to include the return of Alaska to its original owners in any treaty. See how Trump likes those apples.
  10. Like it did with the Budapest Memorandum : The memoranda, signed in Patria Hall at the Budapest Congress Center [de; hu] with U.S. Ambassador Donald M. Blinken amongst others in attendance,[3] prohibited Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, "except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations" Russia violated the Budapest memorandum in 2014 with its annexation of Ukraine's Crimea[7][8] and in 2022 by invading Ukraine. As a response, the United States, United Kingdom, and France provided Ukraine with financial and military assistance, and imposed economic sanctions on Russia, while ruling out "any direct interventions to avoid a direct confrontation with Russia" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budapest_Memorandum
  11. Georgegeorgia would have snapped that up
  12. An easier solution would be to look up the LP or tracks you want to convert to mp3 on you tube. Then use a free Youtube converter to convert the video to mp3 ( deletes video but keeps audio ) . Finally download to your computer or store on a stick. I use this site but there are many others. Fast and simple. https://ezconv.com/8xnp

  15. Just a file photo, the only one I could get to load. But theirs was the same color. Meanwhile , grandads ford anglia looked like this and we went everywhere in it. In those days you could not only swing a cat in the engine bay but a shetland pony too !
  16. Stuck up neighbors car
  17. Brings back memories. I got my first hard on sliding down one of those.
  18. Good luck to him. At least they can take a joke on themselves
  19. Oh dear . Trouble at t mill. Nawat will be taking up a new trade for the rest of the week. Trying to mend fences. A Thai ' misunderstanding ' also on the cards
  20. Not wishing to be a killjoy but absolutely every single person I know , both here and in the UK , got one kind of vaccine or another , including my 90 year old mother. Until today , they are all alive and have had no issues with any vaccine. There was a bit of a worry when 31/Atlas approached the planet and it was predicted that it would trigger a reaction amongst the vaccinated and they would all drop dead on the spot but it seems the danger has passed for now. The vaccinated are getting on with their lives and putting the whole pandemic behind them. The unvaccinated on the other hand just can't seem to let go and move on. It was the seminal moment of their lives and they need to nurture it and keep the glorious memory of their decision as a shining beacon of their segacity. Yawn.
  21. My mother moved away from Uxbridge ( Hillingdon ) to a rural area because she no longer felt safe on account of so many foreign men hanging around the shopping center ogling women , even old women !! . Wise move. https://www.mylondon.news/news/west-london-news/london-borough-most-asylum-seekers-31660112 https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c2lp7wx740go
  22. Oh give it a rest already. Want to save money ? How about scrapping ALL politicians expense claims. Just fill the corridors of parliament with bunk beds and build a few extra toilets. Sorted.
  23. Sex ? With the wife ? Wow that's pretty kinky.
