No Bike manufacturer in the world including the $40,000 dollar high rpm super bikes need

a valve check at 1000kms

Anyone who thinks it is justified on a twin cylinder 6 thousand dollar bike is being overly

brand sensitive.

Having read thru this topic I think there is some confusion going on.

I dont think anyone has a problem with Warranties or what they should or should not cover.
What is consumables etc.

I think what folks who are surprised at having to pay for this valve adjustment are trying to say
is it is not normal wear & tear for a bike with 1000km to need a valve adjustment period

None builds an engine on a mass produced bike so tight that it should need valve shims changed at 1000km
period. That is just wrong period.

If Honda has determined through some checking that their 500 series does need a valve adjustment at 1000kms
then what they have uncovered is a fault in the build. That should not be a warranty issue either it should be
a recall & free of charge to fix/check the problem.

This is not a brand issue nor a warranty issue IMHO

Hey all, I just picked up a 2011 Ninja and was wondering what you guys use to lock it up at night with. I saw the Scorpio i900 but at 14400B it's a bit much this month due to buying the bike, insurance, rent, and just daily expenses. Also, the tunerx integrated tail light, is there any confirmed seller which can get them here without customs caring?

Just a disc lock is fine for most folks

The integrated tail lights are sold here now under various names

I did manage to see the Qatar race but will be keeping an eye out to see if anyone uploads it in the near future.

I would not go for goodridge its just a cheap brand imho. If i remember they are not even dot approved. That in itself is a reason to buya different brand

I did not know they were a UK product but they are DOT/TUV approved

Goodridge brake lines is an imported product from UK and has passed D.O.T. certified and T.U.V. approved (Germany).Also been certified ISO9002.

Firstly the CBR 500 rang alarm bells?? That's news to me there is even such a bike. 250 yes, 400 yes, 600 yes etc

Looks like you got the wool pulled over your eyes if you paid more than what a 250CBR would of costed to rent. Yes I can see it has the decal CBR 500 but that engine sound is no way more than 250

Also no matter what the talent there needs to be a consistency that usually does not come the 1st year.

Your passport contains your visa hence you have two of the three. Also, item number two on the list refers to proof of address which is now a firm requirement, it doesn't have to be in the form of a household registration though, a lease or similar will suffice.

I came on a basic 3 month & later at the end of that applied for the based on marriage extension

I guess I was lucky but also we use to have a mortgage at that branch even though we still

lived in the US & knew the manager well.

When I opened the 2nd account I opened it at Airport Plaza instead of my usual branch & they did not

ask for anything at all.I had just popped in to ask a question about interest/taxes etc.

They told me yes I was about to pass the 20k interest so I should open another MTD & would I like to do so now

I did not even have my passport I guess because they saw my original MTD account & also my Thai drivers license has my PP# on it.

So that was sufficient? or TIT Each store/bank etc is more like a franchise with their general rules but still operate as they or their manager

allows.

well the interesting fact was that when OUR document was complete, it measured exactly 4.25" in depth. the visa is a 'following partner' which lasts initially for 2.5yrs, after that my partner has to sit a 'living [life] in the uk' test, plus we have to supply a further new set of financial records,if all is in order we have to wait for another 2.5years, only then can we apply for citizenship.

I think when my wife did hers it was equally large & expensive too.

Took about the same amount of time too. 2 Year temp residence then your 10 year

which after having at least 1 year you can apply for citizenship more $$$$$ to pay

Funny thing is a few days after she got her US citizenship we moved to Thailand permanently
