I share your suspicious of insurance companies. All I was interested in was that the truck is still 1st class insured while I'm driving and my wife telephoned them and they said yes. I would like to see that in writing. ????

Quite so life has risks you take your choices and judge situations on your abilities. Obviously in busy cities you take more care, many places you can make a choice. Failed qyite a few people in UK taking their advanced motorcycle test, they were just not capable of many skills.

Helmets are more important certainly for people that have not been trained correctly on how to ride motorbikes is how I see it Thailand. Non wearing a helmet very much depends where you live as to road use.

I'm with Roojai now because they offer good deals and you can pay monthly. They do say 50% no claims so if you claim obviously you would lose that. A neighbour had a claim not their fault and truck was fixed and back with them no problem that's all I know about claiming. Don't really want to know what happens if it's my fault.????

Go back to your dealer to see if they give you roadside assistance.

I guess it depends where you live. It's just I see a couple police big bike riders around our way wearing cyclist helmet so local no problem.

A biker mate of ours has a Phantom and rides it over rough ground and track shown in the pix. Only roads is all I go these days. Roads works can be a problem for many bikes, gets them rotten dirty too.

Maybe because we have been with them for a good few years and the policy is in my wife's name as is the truck. The renewal came through and states any driver over 25 years old main driver my 'name' 76 years old. The thing is who knows what happens with a claim maybe they would say if my fault and me driving that it is only covered by CTPL gov insurance. The main reason for 1st class is that the truck is not that old and if it got written off by someone else at least we would get something back. A kid hit it on a bike caused 3 dents, of course family was poor, we have 5000 excess so I got it fixed myself and it came to 4,350 nice job too.

Been all those places but over a number of years roads only. ???? The last place me and my biker buddy rode out and about on a road trip was Nan mountain area it had really good road loop rides I recommend you try. I preferred it to Mae Hong Song loop.

I would say more sports without a screen. I'll take pix next time, as I said what got me curious was the way the cylinder head looked as in sloping out like a twin. His mate had a twin which could see, I will have a good closer look next time it was a nice looking bike.

Just seen a Kawasaki 650 bike I went to look because the the cylinder head that was on show made it look like a V engine. Is it the new bike that's come out. Rider no English so nowt info.
