  1. In my experience In would disgree a one lump of completed composite roof panel placed and fixed on a roof is better half dozen different components to make up a roof. The fixing is simple enough by a competent fixer and as I said before the insulation level the panels return make them very useful in the building of cold storage units.
  2. Initially first reports from memory it deteriates and cracks up and falls off in some cases not all. It is used quite a bit on already installed roof property and I would say improvements of foams used and the technology will get better.
  3. Why don't you like this composite roof panel system. In UK I saved on site time labour costs on every project so there's the only difference I can see Thailand wise. The Thai Labour of installing would be my concern not price.
  4. The foam.
  5. Maybe OP will post his findings I hope so it will be interesting.
  6. No to translate without payment is not my thing. OP is getting a good product, my only concern is the workmanship with installing the panels using a competent Thai roofing contractor.
  7. Nothing is wrong with suggestion but always there's a but and not wanting browny points myself having been in the industrial roofing construction business for over 30 years which is where this product design came from and has been made to be adaptable for domestic house constructions OP is choosing an excellent product.
  8. If it is not a composite roof panel then for a new roof project the OP should stay with what he chosen.
  9. In much the same way as a single skin roof sheet lapping detail. Don't know what spec Thailand produces but UK use a 2mm thick 8mm wide sealant mastic tape between the top cover roll and the under-roll also all along the side of the composite roof panel construction consists 2 pvc strips of type tape attached to the sides where the composite panels are compressed together. The side laps are stitched with rivets or stictcher type screws, the main fixings are usually recommended to be used in the top of the roll of the intermediate corrugated profile of the tmroof panel. At request of friends I have up the spec of Thailand roof spec of what the builders were going to do as builder's either have not taken notice of a spec or to be fair not showed or instructed properly so they just do what they want.
  10. Costs relation here, the after thought of spraying single roof and no underlining support will in time be problematic IMHO. Composite roof panels which is the term used in UK are the way to go for new roof construction. You can also lay slate or concrete tiles on top afterwards if somebody wants a synthetically pleasing roof to look at.
  11. I am experto crede on roofing ????. Use to lay them on sides and roof factories in UK over 30 years ago which were used for cold storage it's a proven product. A good product to use but make sure workmanship is carried out properly at ridge details and hips details if any. Protect the foam ends with with suitable accessories. Preferably fix top of the corrugated profile section.
  12. You could ask around at New City Sukhothai. My wife has a unfurnished studio flat 1 of 3 that is coming available. Its in a good location about 1 kilo out of Muang Kao old city Sukhothai near Wat Sri Chum. No air-con at the moment but I could ask the Mrs to arrange if a long stay. 3000 per month 40 sq metres living and a back yard area. Just for record ???? forgot to mention 15/45 own electric meter and own water meter. No.11. is 2,500 not 3,000 and the available area is 60 sq metres + including back yard.
  13. Yeah my average cost lifestyle of course the odd extra as mentioned and wife takes care of herself. I go by UK pounds averaging it out over 12 moths but 300 $ is about 10,000 baht by my calculations. So I pay for house Electric, water, internet, mobile phone, fuel bikes, diesel truck, bikes/truck road/ins, evening meals, breakfast and midday sandwich, afternoon beer which averages out at 10,000 baht per month.
  14. 300 $ is what it cost me a month. to live comfortably now everything is bought and pay for. Doesn't include replacements, holidays or the odd live it up night out and my bike trips.
  15. Don't you mean 300 dollars or 3000 baht.

  20. Yes it's fair and about the same transfer rate give or take a bit as UK city-bank that (DWP) IPC use to pay directly into a Thai Bank. My arrangements were years before they were about but I use Wise to get other money from UK.
  21. They pay into any Thai bank given correct address and codes wanted. Mine is paid into Bangkok Bank every 4 weeks on a Thursday.
