Please don't inflict you DNA on a child. -
In Bangkok yes, I like the one on Soi Lang Suan. Not tried any outside of Bangkok except the one in Ho Chi Minh City which is also excellent.

There are two Steakhouses I'd recommend in Hat Yai. Meats and Beans ( 7° 0.449'N, 100° 28.971'E) https://maps.app.goo.gl/fnhna3DZMSvXgKvc9 Was there last weekend. The other is Blackbridge Halal Steakhouse ( 7° 0.724'N, 100° 29.020'E) https://maps.app.goo.gl/rMkxr2HnTbVvLAea9

Cannabis & Hemp Bill goes to Thai Cabinet next week
Stocky replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I've not heard Hat Yai referred to as tourist ghetto before! Indeed I'm blessed with wonderful air here in the south, which makes the stench of ganja even more pronounced whenever I visit Bangkok. I don't mind if people want to smoke the stuff, but please do it in private or designated 'coffee shops' as they do in Amsterdam. Please, not out on the street and in public spaces. -

Bank account issue - Refused
Stocky replied to JGV's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Why transfer or open a new account? I have a Krungsri account in Bangkok I use for my marriage extension (don't ask it's complicated) I just go to a Krungsri branch here in Hat Yai for my letter to immigration and bank statements, no real drama takes about 20 minutes. That's about the only time I have dealings face to face, everything else is via the app. New ATM cards, passbooks, update passport info all can be done at a local branch; you don't need to open a new local account. -
Depends on your circumstances. When I was working contracts in Indonesia a multi-Non-O was better, as working two on two off, I couldn't afford the time out for the under consideration period. The cost of the visa is roughly the same as an extension plus a multi re-entry permit. Now that I'm semi-retired I find the 1 year marriage extension suites me better.

I've used the Embassy in Jakarta for marriage non-O multi pre Covid, just looking at their website that's still seems to be the case with the addition of proof of 400k. The consulates in Medan, Surabaya and Denpasar Bali do issue tourist visas, but not sure they do non-Os as well. Might be worth seeing if you get a response to an email. http://www.thaiembassyjakarta.com/en/about-us/royal-thai-honorary-consulates-in-indonesia/ Some nationalities can only apply if the hold a KITAS (residence permit) for Indonesia, but it didn't apply to most European countries, you'd need to check that's still the case. .

No I haven't forgotten, my comment is exactly about what you are highlighting, criticism for what is going on in Gaza attaches to the state of Israel and supporters of Netanyahu's government, and not for example to someone living in London who happens to be Jewish. -

Not exactly sure what you mean, my response was to the OP's question, not to any of "them topics". -

It isn't (or at least shouldn't be) "criticize Jews", the criticism is of the Israeli government and its actions in Gaza. It's worth remembering that not all Jews are Israelis, neither are all Israelis Jews.- 241 replies
