  1. for the full facts and not a misrepresentation: https://fullfact.org/health/coronavirus-vaccine-pfizer-transmission-test/ https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-pfizer-transmission-european-parliament-950413863226 Question 1 - yes Question 2 - yes fact, not a matter of opinion.
  2. I would like to know more about effective Lancet counters. Which weapon systems can effectively counter Lancets ? Is the deployment of vehicles equipped with CRAM systems planned to protect high value targets such as HIMARS, NASAMS, PATRIOTS, IRIS, PzH2000, CAESAR and ARCHER ? Are CRAM effective against Lancets ? When will GLSDB finally be delivered ? Why doesn't Ukraine use JDAM ? Why are Russians allowed to fly planes and helis closer than 100Km from Ukraine-controlled territory ? Doesn't Ukraine have AMRAAM (AIM-120) ? Is the production of 152mm shells finally ramping up ? What about 155mm ? Shaheed crapdrones apparently still come through the air defence. when are more Gepards coming ?
  3. Thank you Thai police for your hard work. I'm sure we all, the whole country, Thai and Farang feel much safer now, and the image of Thailand abroad has been restored. well done.
  4. Avast was good until it wasn't (many years ago already). VPN was mentioned in this thread, the only information is that you tried it. Was it a proper VPN ? One thing you might try to eliminate another potential source is to activate VPN at router level.
  5. and how do you know the downloads use a single HTTPS stream ? HTTPS is not at the same level as SSH, HTTPS is application-managed, while SSH is transport layer. Even wget doesn't support multiple sockets itself, the routers between your machine and the file source would.
  6. I think the difference with the other kind of traffic is the single socket vs. multi-stream. TOT might have a flaky router somewhere. You could try running pingplotter, maybe you get lucky and will see some router losing more packets than it should
  7. that's a wide range ! could be from HCP 3 to ... oh well, I have seen cases of weekend golfing that were way beyond what the handicap spectrum would be able to measure. there's the Swiss pro at the Waterside Driving Range. with golf coaches, the thing is ... you go to adjust what you are doing with your Nicklaus-like elbow at the top of the backswing, and you come back with a new grip, new weight distribution, new swing plane and that draw that works only on the range ... ;-) the best thing is to get coached by someone with a similar build, otherwise it can lead to bad advice.
  8. how good are you at golf already ?
  9. yup, correct. even with a severe ammo shortage, Ukrainians are still able to defend Avdiivka. so Avdiivka doesn't seem about to fall after all.
  10. I have this one and no problems so far https://www.lazada.co.th/products/rinnai-nippon600mp-i407008817-s790524483.html
  11. there is a bus from DMK to Mochit, costs about 40 baht, maybe more now. then Mochit to Pattaya Nua Station (maybe 120 baht?), buses every 30 to 45 min until... hmm. maybe 22:00. OR, alternative if you need to get to Jomtien, take the bus in DMK to Ratchaprarop (20 or 30 baht ?) and there catch the Skytrain to Suvarnabhumi (80or 90 baht?), and then the Bus to Jomtien (143 baht) every hour, or every 30 mins if many arrivals in Suv. If unlucky, 2 hours wait. the problem when arriving in Pattaya Nua is local transport, although I don't really know about current prices. Pattaya taxis made such an impression on me 10 years ago, asking for 300 baht for a 5 minute ride, that I didn't use them since. Maybe a Grab can offer a good price.
  12. Thailand would be well-inspired to create such ghettos, could be a nice source of revenue, especially if including well-equipped retirement/nursing homes. An area with its own supermarket, own police station, own hospital, own beaches, own golf course, etc.
  13. it was an ambush by Ukrainian air defence. well done Ukraine !
  14. none of these car insurances offer unlimited medical costs coverage, they are all capped at 500.000 baht.
  15. I was unable to get RooJai motorcycle insurance, I'm driving a Yamaha Nouvo LC Elegance 135cc. Their system "no have" and when I inquired by phone, they said if system no have, then RooJai doesn't want to insure that model. I can't quite understand why not.
  16. it remains a mystery to me why Thai authorities don't leverage the numerous English speakers to improve the quality of the signage everywhere. they could even create a collaborative website where administrations could post what they want to have translated and for example give away some free entries to national parks or similar as a thank you.
  17. the headlines, sadly, are correct. your comments are nonsense. Ukraine needs ammo, fast. The Republicans should be ashamed of holding Ukraine hostage.
  18. lol, the scale worked ok for all brand products. only for roughly 50% of in-house brand products it didn't, and strangely enough, it always came up short for these products. I also checked with items of known weight that is reliable. "worth the hassle" ? what's the difference between cheating on 8% of a ton of sausage and 8% of a Kg of gold ? I see there are enough mugs who don't care what they pay ... Many business owners buy their wares "en gros" there, my post was meant for them, I know they care about paying a 5 to 8% hidden tax on their purchases. true, TiT, my interest wasn't naming and shaming (although I would have done it in Europe after being dismissed in such a manner by the aftersales dpt.) I can only hope their clients will weigh their purchases and complain if they got cheated.
  19. Recently, after purchasing some products at one of Thailand's large stores, I had the feeling that something wasn't quite right with the weight, so I weighed the products. Brand products were ok, always at or above the weight on the label, but several products sold under their own in-house brand were under weight by 5 to 8%. I contacted their aftersales department and got a dismissive reply, saying at the time that I weighed it wrong, that I should have kept the product to show it, that it's not their problem because the producer is responsible, bla bla... Considering that store's price advantage vs other retailers is usually in the range of 0-5%, these antics completely nullify their supposed competitive advantage.
  20. so, how much hours of driving per day for doing 13.000Km in 10 days ?
  21. most pros don't make a lot of money though. 90% of pros, especially teaching pros, make just normal money to live.
