There is a blue & white belt tournament fairly often, the last one was held at EMAC (Silom) with Ben Stark who I believe is also linked to the DARE stuff but Im not 100% sure.

Does anyone know of Sunday open mat space anywhere in BKK? Its a good time for me but I can't find anywhere that offers apart from early Saturday.

I left a document in chiang mai that I need for Sunday. What would you knowledgeable people recommend as the fastest way to safely get it to Bangkok before Sunday?

I'm in Chiang Mai with a car. I'm wondering how best to do the border run I need. I have found various thread suggesting Mae Sae is the right place to do it, but they all talk about buses and mini vans etc. I'm assuming one can drive oneself there and work it out- does anyone have advice to share?

Also as to how long it might take and what requirements there are.. many thanks in advance for any help.

Bit off topic, but immigration Chanegwattana's official advice to me, when I turned up a week before my extention expired, but lacking one of the required documents to process my work permit, was "go on overstay for a week". The logic being that if I got an extention, I would lose the required Non-Imm B Visa status. And then, I would need to get a new Non-Imm B to be eligible to apply for the work permit extention.

Her advice when asked what to do if I get arrested, was "stay at home".

Next time prepare two or 3 red notes in your hand, hold them slightly beneath the bottom of the window after handing over your license. 9 times out of ten, they will slip the hand in, take the notes, give you your license back and you're on your way.
