Maybe a little off topic. I found out after I married my Thai wife, she was going to wait until she got her permanent green card, which would be two years after our marriage, then leave me!! After 30 years of waiting for her to leave, she is still here!!! Oh, and she has an income that is 3 times what mine is.

Ban caffeine? How dare you? Where is that darn report button? 😧 -
You should review the truth about the bleach. Even snopes has addressed it. Not sure about the lights, but I think he was referring to experiments about using uv lights inserted into the lungs. What's True During an April 2020 media briefing, Trump did ask members of the government's coronavirus task force to look into whether disinfectants could be injected inside people to treat COVID-19. But when a reporter asked in a follow-up question whether cleaning products like bleach and isopropyl alcohol would be injected into a person, the then-president said those products would be used for sterilizing an area, not for injections. What's False However, at no point did Trump explicitly tell people they could or should inject bleach into their bodies.

I don't know how relevant this is to the Thai government announcement. My most recent trip to Thailand was July 15 this year. I flew on Ethiopian airlines from Newark, NJ airport. Stopped in Togo (?), Lome for an hour to allow passengers to deboard and clean the inside of the aircraft. In transit passengers were required to stay on board the aircraft. Departed and flew to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where everyone deboarded and where I changed aircraft then had about a 1.5 hour wait before boarding the next aircraft. At BKK as I was heading into the fast track line when a woman there asked to see my boarding pass. She saw I had traveled on Ethiopian Airlines and told me I had to go for a health check (or what ever she actually said) and directed me to a booth that was just past a business a few meters away. There were two arriving passengers there. I waited behind one as she spoke with the TOT (?) official, she was Asian. The other person already speaking with one TOT official was a white person with a sort of British accent. From the conversation it sounded like he had traveled from from Africa (I forget what country) to BKK. He kept arguing about not being sick and something else about health issues. My wait till the lady in front of me left was about 5 minutes. TOT official asked a couple of question about my health, looked at my covid shot record, and asked me where I came from. I told him Newark, NJ. He said something, wrote something on a piece of paper, put it in my passport and told me I could go. White guy was still arguing about his health being good when I left. Lady at fast track looked at the paper in my passport and motioned me into the fast track immigration line. That was about a 15-20 minute wait till I was stamped into Thailand. -
I have done that. Even though I am the guy on the right. No takers.

The lifetime warranty for the MG, from what little I read in this thread, applies to the battery. I am assuming that there is also warranty coverage for the rest of the vehicle that mimics what mine is, or was, which does not cover what I call expendables, i.e., tires, brakes, shocks, tires, etc., parts that normally wear out within an expected time period, for which the owner is responsible for replacement costs. I was caught by surprise when the radio in my truck started giving up its ghost. The radio is an important part of the vehicle because it is part computer and controls a variety of different functions of the vehicle, it even had a 10 Gb hard drive (20 Gb after replacement). The Lifetime Warranty did not cover replacement cost for the radio. A new replacement radio was quoted as $2000.00! I paid for a rebuilt one which cost me $900.00. I think there is a separate computer system that controls the engine functions, I am not sure. I am an old car mechanic type person who does not know how to work on modern vehicles. Only a studious MG EV owner who has read and understood his/her warranty would know or may know what might be covered by the new car warranty for the vehicle.

Off the subject of electric vehicles and their warranties, to the MOPAR "Lifetime Warranty" for my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie pickup truck but possibly related to the MG "Lifetime Warranty", which brings up a question. When I read the "Lifetime Warranty" information for my Ram 1500, I found that "Lifetime" was defined as, (paraphrased) covering warranty repairs until the repair costs more than the market value of the vehicle. It was however a good investment. For just under $3000.00 for the "Lifetime Warranty" in 2014 when I purchased the truck, the warranty has covered between $12,000.00 and $15,000.00 in warranty repairs, which includes replacement of the 5.7 Ltr. Hemi engine, which would have cost over $8,000.00 in 2020. The dealer service center does charge me a 1 hour diagnostic fee however. I did find out that MOPAR stopped selling their vehicle "Lifetime Warranty" three or four months after I purchased mine. I wonder why? LOL So the question is, how does MG define "Lifetime"?

The Curtain Falls: Russia’s YouTube Ban and Its Impact on Society
radiochaser replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I used to listen to Radio Moscow and intercept radio teletype traffic from Radio Tass. The only thing I can remember from reading the Radio Tass intercept were the many reports of people being arrested for possession of home made sub machineguns. Reports of the sub machineguns being tested and that they functioned perfectly. If I recall correctly, those were weekly reports. So much for gun bans. -
Snake Bites Thai Man in Toilet, Causes Panic

Snake bites man in toilet... How about spiders? I have a lasting phobia about being bit by spiders while using toilets. Comes from having to use out door toilets when I was a kid, in backwoods Louisiana! Those were infested with spiders in the summer months! -

You must be very sensitive. I have been directly insulted many times. The insults shows the quality of the insulters character. I don't respond in kind.
