  1. The hard truth Lock them up until I go through the chimney. I don't miss them clogging every half interesting spot in this country.
  2. WIN guys are targeting shops every day to everywhere. I believe they will better know about these different branches. And WIN (or food delivery) drivers always hang over their smartphones. Guess or hope they can make use of route planners?
  3. A bit of a hint would help like Big C (extra), Pattaya Klang. Few Thais will be aware about the "extra". Just "Big C"? One can not really complain too loud.
  4. 543 km in 8:09. That estimate gives average speed of 66 km/h. Taking into account that there are some four lane divided stretches, this sounds conservative. Might make it quicker. But as usual: two lane highways are a gamble with possible columns from slow moving vehicles etc. But as Kenny202 writes it's unlikely that there is much traffic. I did 560 km to Pattaya without tollway in less than 8 hours a couple of times with appropriate breaks (no more). Mostly four lane though.
  5. Either the procedure for replacing is easier than expired or they have simply overlooked. Side note: if you have your new passport nr. registered at the bank, make sure that online banking still works before leaving the branch.
  6. Not terrible but standard procedure. If you get a new passport work on the to-do list and register it at: immigration bank(s) SIM card(s) ? what else And then?
  7. Much more plausible and as written for huge data/archiving/backup still a hard disk is a good option. Few people need xx TB with the extreme speed of an SSD.
  8. Never heard of. Not in our remote village (not even Saturday). They deliver on Saturdays in some areas. But on Sunday? I doubt it.
  9. And considering popularity of travelling to SK it was to be feared: at least one Thai person died. https://www.facebook.com/KhaosodEnglish/posts/pfbid0v58NoVM52SX6pNoRxR7bGcz5GrBn7AvuyHfi6T7bicyTzQETjsQYKxwkAhnvimhrl
  10. Get real! A genuine SanDisk 2(!)TB SSD is about 200 Euro/Dollar. One reason why big data/cloud is still stored on classic disks is the price. A Seagate 18 TB is about 400 Euro. 20 TB about 540 Euro.
  11. 20 TB for 159.99$ ???????? What a joke. Reminds me of 2 or 4 TB USB >sticks<. The things often show the advertised size when connected. They even show error free writing. So some people believe their data is now safed. The headache comes when trying to read beyond the REAL size of the c.rap like 32/64/... >GB<
  12. I am cautious to avoid such cramped mass events. If it's free think twice. First and last such chaotic event that I came into was a firework spectacle in Berlin 1984 with about a million visitors.
  13. Very sad but likely some gruel truth. A gorilla after 30 years in solitary lock might react aggressive or fearful to other animals. But still better to give the poor animal a better treatment.
  14. Not sure whether you read the same article: What would you see behind "it"? Such things happen worldwide. 18 wheel trucks stuck in suburban housing area, on forest paths etc.
  15. This two wheel symbol is for bicycle routes (or motorbike)
  16. If you turn this ball 180 degrees you will see where you are. Just a hint to the OP
  17. To the point. Not before I read "Dodgers" I knew what the thread is about. Why should Thailand free TV pay for sports that is of zero interest here. BTW: how is coverage of Sepak Takraw in the US?
  18. Fuel prices gone up? No, I always fill in for 500 Baht Chocolate in Germany not increased. Just it's 87 grams instead of a 100. Inflation hits hard in Thailand too. Just look at prices for basic food stuff like chicken and pork.
  19. Transcription is a can of worms. Pure Chaos. Better don't open! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sathon_district
  20. Goto Khon Kaen. They have it correct or different? "HEREIN". ????
  21. Interesting. Some years ago in Berlin windows were falling from a "Europa Center" built in 1965 in the western city. No victims fortunately.
  22. Just looked up the Villa Market site. 21 Lorenz products. 14 out of stock (Crunchips among).
