  1. Exactly that. If inspection needed drive the bike there carefully ????
  2. And what do understand from that? "rolled up proof of insurance affixed to the license plate of the bike"
  3. In a woke country like Germany one would be stoned for such presentation. Crime rate by migrants way over the average but mostly suppressed to report. Only "men", "groups of men" and "persons" commit crimes.
  4. Hardly a device sold in Thailand that can not handle E10. Newer cars all up to E20, some flexfuel up to E85. Newer motorbikes can handle E20. And as in your case smaller devices rely on E10 ("gasohol 95" at PTT). Pure fuel ("benzene" as Thais call it) is more and more difficult to find. Only major stations of PTT and maybe Esso (?). Not worth that hassle. 95: even if 91 octane still available stick to 95. The price difference has become marginal.
  5. May work but without (inspection), tax and the new sticker you are not legal on the road
  6. You did not mention how old the bike is. If 5 years or more an inspection is needed. Also tax payment at the DLT ("motor office") where you get the sticker for another year. For that and a potential inspection the green book is needed.
  7. Regarding Crunchips/Lorenz completely wrong. Made in Germany/imported. Picture just taken at BigC Extra.
  8. Wasn't aware about the 30th. Long NYE weekend. BIG fun on the roads ????
  9. https://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html As above Dec 24 (Saturday). Earliest in person Dec 10. Latest Dec 30 (highly discouraged)
  10. Villa-Market at the Avenue picture just taken. More tastes available.
  11. "palymony" Forum is always good to develop my English vocabulary
  12. Agree, there is not a single flight other than BangkokAir. This was a shortlived thing sometime before Covid and tickets were as overpriced as with PG. If I counted correct it's 17 arrivals with PG from different routes today. Quite busy.
  13. Highly recommended. Their best fares seem well booked. And best fares means at least 6000 Baht for return flight. Easy to go over 10000.
  14. Some are called iPhones Well yes, designed in USA but that's it. Currently shortage to laborers fleeing Covid quarantine.
  15. Indeed. Just download a youtube "shorts" with length of 8 seconds in 1080p (HD resolution). 3.54 MB. Scaled to 13 sec this would be about 5.7 MB ! What hell machine produced 90 MB for 13 sec? It that some uncompressed or 8k or ?
  16. Hope the sky will be clear. Will be in Pattaya. Villagers little interested in Loy Krathong. Moonrise varies from 17:38 (Chiang Rai) to 18:00 (Phuket).
  17. Wasn't there a report about the latest "lost wallet" scam? You turn it in with 5000 Baht cash contained. Soon owner comes and claims it was 10000, 100000 or whatever? You get trouble.
  18. The only concern: foreigners in most countries need to have a valid passport anytime. Guess UK immigration will not stop her from leaving. Just make sure what is needed to return. (I am not familiar with UK immigration rules)
  19. You were faster ???? And again this Russian guy wins. Says he lives in Thailand for 5 years. Won 4 times if I remember correct.
  20. Some sites have the "English" hidden in a menu labeled in Thai script ????
  21. https://aseannow.com/topic/1112280-where-can-one-buy-prozac-fluoxetine-in-bkk/?do=findComment&comment=14386619 You might find the answer here why they sent you to another pharmacy,
  22. Lazada made me trouble at the login (name/password) requiring captchas, unlock with code via mail that never arrived (might be the mail provider bouncing anything from Thailand). In the end I gave up and created a new account based on my mobile nr. and a Gmail account. Works Ok since then. Not their sales? But?
  23. Why would another entry point/airport make a difference? Data is in their system, stamps in your passport. Whether immigration in Chiang Mai is "more relaxed", I don't know.
