Same to me and a somewhat obscure website. Can't really find what and where they are (poking around on their website, no proper imprint. "services" site empty). The problem from the OP is likely created by the mail interface of this service. Blocking/hiding attachments? Blocking stuff from Thai IP? I had/have even worse problems with a major German mail provider. Since long using yahoo or Gmail. I would much recommend the friend sets up some other mail account.

Even if not required... WISE has a somewhat hidden function to produce a PDF with the transfer details. Clearly shows foreign amount and amount of Thai Baht credited to your account.

I am not sure about Kasikorn. What always works around: cardless withdrawal. But for that internet banking on the mobile is necessary.

I have entered an example to the TIMATIC system which airlines use to check the "clear to board". https://skyteam.traveldoc.aero/ She is clear to board to Thailand even when passport expires between departure and return flight. What I can't tell: would the airline check/comment the status for the return flight at boarding in the US? Probably not, as letting her fly TO Thailand is OK and does not affect the airline.

That on the other hand is obviously clear.
