  1. Same to me using on PC. And what is the sensation of such page? Credit card payment or what? Same to me when using internet banking for the purpose. I again should check using ATM for the purpose. Last time (years ago) top up was also free of charge.
  2. Out is to Phuket and in is to Bangkok. It's to official rules that flying TO Bangkok does not require any Covid related stuff. I am cautious to comment about CM. My experience is Khon Kaen -> Phuket -> Bangkok -> Khon Kaen over Christmas/NY (AirAsia, AirAsia, ThaiSmile). And nothing was checked to my surprise. As written unvaxxed is a gamble. A documented ATK (simple) test for the leg to CM would suffice.
  3. What I think. Some "funny joke". Would better like: two girls and no officer.
  4. Left is the truth. Right shows 0.5 kg more (hate it). Digital gadget at home shows 1 kg less (love the illusion). To know the truth you should find a scale at a hospital reception or compare misc scales at pharmacies etc.
  5. These old fashioned sliding weight scales ARE accurate. I found some sources in Thai/Bangkok but the 5 digit price starting with 2 will probably dampen euphoria. If I want to be sure I go to the village health center. They have an age old sliding weight scale and that is reliable. The digital gadgets around differ up to 1.5 kg between each other.
  6. Hell no. But I am not living in the city of Angels. In Thai language only to a foreigner. Sounds absurd but always keep an excuse: this is Thailand. Do you have enemies in the neighborhood who want to frighten you? What number was displayed?
  7. The country with accurate numbers is Denmark. They can even tell the relation between Omicron BA.1 and BA.2 (and the tiny number of Delta left). Try to find here.
  8. Do you think it's different from other countries where this applies? Of course every case detected by health officials counts as a Covid case. Not easy to digest vlog but serious:
  9. Sure. Financial institutions have to verify identity and address. Verifying my address in Thailand was not that easy (all I have is in Thai script). At another transfer service (Azimo) I failed (company pension letter not good enough). Finally a letter from my German bank to Thai address did the job. There was never a word about "home address". My address is in Thailand.
  10. Do I understand you have not yet bought a new phone? If you buy at a shop, cutting will be done without asking of course. Just bring old phone/SIM with you.
  11. Likely Thai Lion Air and they allow booking without any hint on Covid regulations. Not very helpful. You had a similar thread about BKK to CNX. As you can see there it is quite inconsistent and travelling unvaccinated by air is a gamble.
  12. Go to any mobile phone shop and ask them to cut down to nano. 20 Baht. Of course the DIY approach is also possible. Nano is just a bit bigger than the size of the chip / golden contacts
  13. RIP to him and the 38 other motorbike riders/pillion passengers who died on the road yesterday.
  14. If north west is west of north east then NO ???????? isn't it called the rose of the north ?
  15. Rules have just changed/relaxed. But everyone hopes that in a "few months" more relaxation will happen. "Soon" sounds different. Crystal ball required. Be optimistic.
  16. Congratulations that you didn't have to care about this topic. You must be the only foreigner not having heard about Test&Go, Sandbox Endless threads, posts, misc. Twitter, Youtube etc. To start with: your family member are fully vaccinated? Else quarantine. So for a start the latest TaT news: https://www.tatnews.org/2022/02/thailand-reopening-exemption-from-quarantine-test-go/
  17. Three new deaths and how many were "with Covid"? Same goes for hospital admission. Broke your leg, tested positive before treated, Covid case.
  18. Just forget it. And leaving just after midnight 13th will likely not raise an overstay procedure/stamp. You leave before Songkran, miss all the fun (joke!).
  19. And the Ruble does not crash further/implode. Read an article explaining why. And the still ongoing oil/gas business is a main factor. The companies have to change their foreign currency to Rubles at the central bank. Adding to that there are regulations to forbid currency transfers abroad. Today Ruble slightly higher, Euro steep down. Not fun Don't even think what will happen if oil/gas is stopped.
  20. No I don't think so. But most browsers will allow to save it as on other sites. What browser/device do you use? In worst case just store it with some notepad/textpad tool.
  21. Good to know. Some posters assumed that Thai Airways would always require a test.
  22. Logged on and entered data yesterday. Confirmed this morning 8:55. That I saw a security warning as they again have let their certificate expire (on 27 February)? Well, got used to and fearlessly "took the risk"
  23. Many European countries have eased entry rules very significantly and Thailand is not a highest risk list or the like. Have I read that Switzerland has dropped all rules?
  24. Just supporting: don't take Thai cash/notes home. Rates are ridiculously bad. Change cash here to your currency or some easy to handle like USD/EUR/GBP. From what I have seen in the past the overall rate with DeeMoney is worse than carrying cash.
